I think most dealers dont care until its unloaded on their lot than they want the money yesterday .
That's pretty fair. I rarely message my dealer with a question, but when I do, it's like pulling teeth

Hi all,
I have a build week of 12/19 and my truck has been in production for the last 7 days. But the tracker has no end date under the "in production" tab. Is anyone else experiencing the same?

At the bottom of my window sticker there's a date that did say 12/19, but then changed to 12/20 this morning. Not sure if this is significant. No modules have been turned on and not sure if my dealer would be able to see that date. I'm compulsively checking my phone for a date every morning before work and throughout the day, but nada.

Any other MY23 going through the same?
Mine went into "Production" on 12/5, but did not show as "Built" until 12/14. They're working on it ;) Oh, and I've already received a "Shipped" email due to arrive 1/3-1/9. PDQ in my book after the "reorder" ;)

Mine is scheduled 12/19 week, been "in production" and a window sticker available for at least a week now. It'll be interesting to see when it shows up as "built"

Same here. My window sticker populated on the 12th (date in the special order box) and tracking changed to "in production" with no date underneath. The date at the bottom of the window sticker is the "view date" and will change every time you reload that page. Ford chat told me I am production week of 12/19 with an estimated build date of 12/20 (today)

I still don't have any date under "in production" on the tracker, but that doesn't really mean anything. Once Ford chat starts working this morning I'll be checking with them just to make sure everything is still somewhat on schedule.

Gotcha. So I'm in a queue, but not quite going down the line to be built yet. I was curious why it wasn't showing for me. Did they let you know about the build week changes?
yeah ford would send an email everytime i got pushed to a later week. but no update until built the week it actually got done.

Considering that the plant will shut down for Christmas, I'm going to go with 12/27.

Same here. I'm just anxious to get it lol I'm grateful to at least know that I WILL get it. I have a VIN which is more than what most are able to get at the moment.

be careful you don't go down the Rabbitt Hole thinking tiny little details on Window sticker, etc. have much meaning and then stressing when nothing really happens. As others noted "in production" doesn't mean they are building your truck. Mine was in Production a couple weeks. What the next meaningful status really is: "in the Factory". Your dealer has access to their Vehicle Visibility Report they can pull up in seconds 24/7 to see if your order # and other information is showing on a line item with your status. They are just being lazy and/or lying to you if they claim they can't do that for you.

I have also found dropping in on my dealer was most effective- messaging and leaving voicemails is too easy to ignore vs. showing up in person.

Good Luck!

Similar situation here:
12/19 production *week*, with a build scheduled to 12/21 (tomorrow!)

We went into production last Monday, with a window sticker made available last Tuesday. Been in a holding pattern since then, with no updates to modules or further updates to the window sticker (except for the date at the bottom, which just reflects the current day)

I've reached out to Ford chat a couple times (sometimes I feel bad about that, but hey, I'm spending more than 20k on their car, so I figure I can ask a question or two), and all they'll tell me is that it's in the factory with no ETA.

Hoping that the forecasted build day is still on track and that we're looking at an early January delivery. Fingers crossed!

Had an interesting thing happen. I had an original production week of !2/19 with a production date of 12/20, then 12/21, then 12/22. Last week production date of January 4. A delivery date of January 8-14 in Missouri. Just called Ford Marketing and found out the truck is in production now. Probably be delivered during the same timeframe. Still confused about the process, but happy to be in production. Merry Christmas to us.

I feel bad because I've been harassing Ford chat lol. I just never understood the process. I waited nearly a year for the truck to be built and now I'm super antsy. My date was 12/19, then 20, then 22, then back to 20. It's already nearing the end of 20 and still nothing. No production date. So I guess I'll be one of those that won't be getting a build date for a little bit.

That is interesting! I haven't had my production week changed (yet), but I don't have a date on the tab. My truck IS in production, but nothing else. Nothing on the modules yet

Check with Ford. I have a '22 roll over and got a VIN and a build date, Ford stated that was a '22 VIN an my '23 is not scheduled yet. It is in the process of being converted. I feel more confident in winning a card game on the streets of NYC then getting a Maverick any time soon.
