I rolled over 1k miles the other day so I thought I would put my opinion out there, along with some updated photos. I like seeing what everyone else has done, so here goes.
Let me start by saying that I've been driving the same '01 Ranger for the last 20 years, so this is quite an improvement. The hybrid is great on gas mileage, averaging 44 mpg. The stereo isn't awesome, but it's loud and adequate. It's nice to have the infotainment and bluetooth tech, as well as a backup camera. My wife and I really love the heated seats. So far, the bed has not proven to be too small, a couple runs to the Depot have worked out fine. It drives smooth, the road noise is not bad, and I like the seats. I'll see how long the interior plastic can look like new, as I can tell it will scuff and scratch easily. Overall, I dig it. Sure, there are some things I would change, or wish it had, but is a fun little truck.
I waited 23 months and like a lot of others, had plenty of time to plan what I would do to set mine apart from the rest. The hot pepper red color alone is awesome, it's easy to spot. I dorked out a bit with some star wars decals that I custom ordered on Etsy. I added the hybrid lettering in Aurebesh, and the graphic is from the Inferno squadron. It's not a First Edition, it's of the First Order. I've installed the DeeZee tailgate assist, Smartliner floor mats and mud flaps from Muslogy. I also picked up a TIPTOP soft rollup tonneau cover on Amazon. Cheap but so far it looks good and works great. The tailgate letter inserts look good and installed easy. My wife gave me a cordless vacuum to help keep it clean. The A2Pro fits nice in the door, and the orange matches the interior color scheme. I still plan on tinting the front windows, and getting the bed sprayed, when my budget gets resupplied.
