10/21 Maverick is Finally Here!

I know this is becoming redundant reading the threads, but the Maverick I ordered a year and a half ago is finally here!

The dealership initially offered price protection for the order, then I called Ford and asked for the Private Cash Offer since they upgraded my 2021 order to a 2022 on 9/22, then upgraded it again to the 2023. Ford confirmed that I qualify for the offer, but the dealer has been clueless. Now, after walking the dealer through the process of securing the private cash offer, I am in need of some clarification from the forum.

PCO is different than price protection, correct? PCO comes from Ford directly and the dealership locks in price protection, but are these offers exclusive from one another? Meaning I cannot expect the dealer to honor price protection AND get the PCO from Ford?

According to TIm, I should be receiving the $500 price protection offer for the Maverick since it had a price increase in 2022/2023 and the PCO for they hybrid of $2750?

Yes. If your 2023 build (window sticker) is after the recent price increases for the vehicle and transportation. THAT is price protected as your order was likely dated 11/14/22, like the rest of us cancelled orders. Then your Private Offer Certificate is a totally separate issue. Considered a Rebate in most areas.
