I know there are only two examples so far, but it seems none of them deal with the bed tie downs, at least based on the pictures.

I know there are only two examples so far, but it seems none of them deal with the bed tie downs, at least based on the pictures.
I thought the rugged instructions had you removing the tie down and reinstalling. That would keep the liner in place. Also stated non slip. I have the SIBL from factory. If I didn't I like the rugged.

I wish we new someone who actually put the rugged into a mav and had pictures. I have googled it many times but none found so far.

Penda liner site says no drilling for the under the rail version. When I pretended to order 1 looking for shipping cost there are 3 different smaller items listed in addition to liner showing in my cart that appear to be mounting kit parts.

Water gets under the drop in liners, shifts, and is very slippery, so things will slide all around. The ABS material will fade and dry rot over time.
Being more slippery can be a boon in some circumstances where you frequently need to slide heavy objects in and out. The thicker plastic can be more durable where there's more material to absorb scrapes and gouges than a spray-on would have. I've only seen one of our delivery trucks have the plastic get age degraded to the point of breaking up and that's on a vehicle some 30+ years old (which is also some counterpoint to the idea that they cause beds to rot).
