you are correct. the six fin display connector is for 12+ and the 4 pin is for -12 in screens. i think your going to be hard pressed to find one without nav for the 12+ almost everything has it now. you may be able to turn it off it off in forscan not sure tho. why no nav?

Yea just buy the sync 4 apim that uses the 4pin screen connector and not the six everything else will carry over minus the secondary screen plug

I did not have it showing anything until I swapped my gauge cluster to one from a 23 escape. Now they talk to each other and I get all that info

Disconnect the battery. Do a hard reset
