I just saw over on CNBC that Kia announced a new line of pickups for the U.S. market. The lineup includes a hybrid model. They already have a pickup called the Tasman available in other markets. It's a new pickup platform optimized for rough terrain.

I like the noodle/pipe insulation ideas. Note that a noodle I have is 52" long, not quite wide enough for the entire well. 3" pipe insulation fits in the well pretty good. A 4" piece with a slot might fit on the edge of the hood even better. My pic is a 3" piece.

Thanks for this info. The one thing I noticed with the jumper pack was that it only worked if I heard relays clicking away in the engine when I connected it. If there were no relay sounds, there was no start.
