Quite possibly a small chip down low in the black zone. Unfortunately you can't see that real estate from the interior. Then the chip swiftly cracked with defrost at work. Happened to me within the first month 😞
Great, thanks for sharing this "how to"! Would this be the same parameter to adjust regarding a tire size change? And if your new tires circumference is 5% greater, would you then adjust the AFE upwards 50 points?
Nearing 40000km. Backed out of garage and slipped into neutral while waiting for garage to close. ICE kicked in & engine began to fluctuate, nearly stalling at one point, so I flipped it to Park = smooth idle. Forward/reverse whilst holding brake = smooth idle. Put in neutral again = same...
We have a '22 Escape PHEV & a '24 Hybrid Mav in our garage in Canada. Both are great in their own realm. The PHEV is best for short commutes. Summer battery 60-70km, winter 30-40km range, but diminishes the more we use the heated seats and wheel. Similar to the Mav battery in that respect to...
I also have a '24 XLT hybrid with no regrets. The deep sleep notifications became daily, at which point I'd go to the dealer. Reset system, subsequently replace FLA battery. 6 Months later, rinse & repeat dealer processes. Finally got the AGM on warranty. Only 2 months in, but so far so...
Don't add weight!! Invest in a second set of rims & good winters (if you have room) before coming back to AB. The Continentals aren't good, worst case swap out the rubber. We got a big dump this past week. Try using slippery mode as well.
Now that we're experiencing sub -20 temps, I am highly disappointed with Ford's HVAC. '24 Mav & '22 Escape, both are equally shite in regards to a balance of cabin comfort/window defrost. Defrost ONLY to maintain visibility, means cold feet on a lengthy drive.
My numerous Chev pickups...
'24 XLT Lux Hybrid. 💝 Day delivery. Red Deer, AB. 20k into it, and the 12V battery replacement (Deep Sleep issue) was the hiccup thus far. 6L/100km avg, with lots of added hiway miles this year!! Superbly Satisfied....
Let it be known that I flat out own the rights to this one! Got the decal before Feb delivery, with mpg expectations. Now we are 10000km into it, and it has not disappointed.
Just completed a weeklong 2500km vacation from Red Deer to CDA,Idaho and back, and avg'd 50mpg (cdn). It's gotta be...
Thanks for your input. Got my Mav on Valentine's Day. Have successfully installed the Truxport with no issues. Went with it to gain a little added height and width for cargo vs. a low profile design. 😊
Tonneau covers all........ if you want to be rebellious, lay it down and tuck it in. If you want to play by the rules, ratchet strap the hell out of it (think spiderman). Laying these down and blocking in place (straps for added measure) for a short haul is not the end of the world.
My XLT Lux Hybrid scheduled for end of Nov build, & I got to the dealer on Valentines Day 💝 to take delivery. Best VD gift ever...... OP should have it in June. Enjoy!!
MSRP $250Cdn on MY24 order for the block heater. Doing it after the fact would be additionally cost prohibitive. For resale purposes/desirability north of the 49th, it makes absolute sense to have it. Plus, YOU have the ability to have a warm block beyond 20 below.
