Very nice! I’m Leary of removing panels as I seem to be hamfisted and torque things just enough to make them not fit nice a tight on reinstall. Any issues with the panels on yours?
??? your students tell you, their teacher, to look up stuff? That’s funny, I tell my students (college) to look up stuff all the time. Like this thread, I’ll explain a concept, like how airbags work, once or Maybe twice, but after that it is on them to put the effort into understand.
in case...
What is your question? Why don’t people care about warranties? Doing mods doesn’t void the warranty btw. It only means if a failure is linked to a mod it won’t be covered. As for ground clearance look up airbags.
I have close to the same build. No cover, moonroof, and CGM. I ordered 7/13 and have a build week of 2/14. I’m guessing I got pulled first either due to the cover or allocations.
We do have some level 2 chargers, but not a ton, and with those you are talking charge time in the hours to gain significant range. We have a Leaf as our city car and charge at home, but widespread adoption would be hard given the lack of available chargers.
Put what you want on your truck. I have about 15 stickears on my E-150. Maybe the Bernie sticker or the gay pride subpop was the reason my valve stems were cut, twice. Or maybe it was just a bored teen. I’m not going to worry about how people react to what I decorate my van with. Though I...
Did you get the confirmation email? Also, as far as I can tell the October and November orders are eco boost, not hybrid. I would call Ford if I were you.
I agree that allocations mess things up for retail orders. I mean, the dealer really didn’t do much work or take a risk like they do on stock orders, so allocations really shouldn’t come into play.
I do think anything like strict FIFO is unrealistic given the complexities of building and...
What we’re seeing now is the result of 30 plus years of everything moving to JIT (just in time). It is great when it works. It reduces costs through efficiencies in labor, transportation, storage, etc. the problem is when something interrupts any one of those, say shutdowns from a world wide...
True. But given the rise of retail ordering, I think they would be smart cultivating loyalty. You do that by treating people well and fairly. Given the information out there, I’m likely to know if my dealer gets a canceled version of my order. Pretty much all the Mavericks are going through one...
A smart dealer would look at who has ordered the same, or a very similar, truck and offer it at MSRP (or maybe a very small ADM) to whoever was first in line, selling that persons truck , when it came in at a higher ADM. Happy customer and good profits. Win/win.
Mine says to keep in touch with my dealer. Though I would like them to keep me informed, I can’t say they have broken any promises. In fact the have emailed me for every step they have said they would so far ( which is only the first step so far.

We don’t know, therefore it must be x is the classic informal logical fallacy argument from ignorance.
Supply issues are happening with everything. Our lab came close to closing because we couldn’t get maintenance tanks for our printers. Different papers keep going out of stock. Then it is...
Express lines at grocery stores? VIP lines at nightclubs? First class passengers boarding aircraft? All the people who got their Amazon delivery before you (even though they may have ordered after you) on that day’s route?
I’ll get angry if someone who later ordered the exact same truck as me...
