With the Curt harness the blind spot warnings on the mirrors(blis) and rear cross traffic alerts work as normal with a light bar or trailer plugged in.
I ended up installing the Curt wiring harness to put brake lights on my bike rack. It's a bit expensive, but seemed the easiest way to keep the side traffic alert. It does seem to be about $40 cheaper on Amazon right now though.
From my experience the Maverick's sound system is very slow at recognizing usb drives, so on start up it thinks there isn't a usb drive inserted and defaults to the radio. It's annoying but i get around it by turning off the radio before i shut off the truck and turn it back on about 30 seconds...
The first month or two I bumped it several times but haven't done it in awhile now, must have adapted to it without trying. The first time it happened was scary though.
I had this happen on my Ranger after having the windshield replaced.. I could push them down into position but they would come out again as soon as I turned the key on. I think it relearned its positions after disconnecting the battery, you might want to research if there is a process for that.
Mine showed shipped on 12/29 and was at the dealer in Indiana on 1/8. The dealer thought that was awful fast for rail. (it had said rail on the original window sticker)
To clarify, the link in my scheduled to be built email stopped working on my build week. Using the link in the build and tracking links thread has worked since then though.
Mine did the same last week, had to use the link in the tracking thread and input manually.

Another thing to add in is the increasing number of states with a extra EV/hybrid tax. For example Indiana hybrid tax goes up to $72 next year, in 5 to 10 years it does add up.
It's mostly EVs getting hit with this but I would count on thing type of thing to become more common in the future.
