Great news! I have a dash camera to install. Ideal would be to pull trim and the headliner down once to put both an antenna mount and the rear camera in at the same time.
Ah, so it appears to be the NMO connector itself, not the bracket. It would be a pain, but I wonder if the NMO can come out of the bracket and be replaced?
I thought it might have been the black coating (powder coat? anodizing?) coming off of the bracket itself.
The corrosion is a disappointment. Do you have any pictures of what is going on? I've been debating a purchase of the adapter for awhile. I live in a salt-happy area so this is a concern. It's a large reason why I dislike drilling holes in the body!
I purchased my fluids from Rock Auto.
RDU is $27.79 / qt. XY75WQL
PDU is $20.89 / qt. XY75W85QL
Did anyone change their fill and drain plugs on the RDU? The factory service document said to. I imagine it's because there is some sort of thread sealant on the RDU plugs. I reused the old ones.
I submitted my inquiry today and received a response.
"Yes we are currently planning to develop a Snap & Zap for the 2024 Ford maverick, the part number will be 81610, but it still about a year away from being released. Keep an eye out for it summer 2026"
I'm running the clean and dirty side UPR cans. I installed them about 1000 miles ago. I'm dumping the dirty side about every 500 miles as it is near full. It's almost all water.
I only saw one other reply from @A.Bursell with a 1,000 mile interval. Any other feedback on how often the cans are...
Did you ever find a PID for this? Torque has one as part of the Ford PIDs labeled as "2211B3" with an equation of "A/2" associated to it. That one doesn't seem to work.
Great to hear about Germain! I've never used them before but I did place my order with them in Sept '22 for a Maverick. They just rolled my order over into a '24. So far so good, I'm just way down the allocation list.
This is exactly the method I currently use. I have two volumes I switch between for a 2003 Ranger and a 2010 Mustang. Both DVDs were ripped to ISO files. I select the one I need in Virtual Clone Drive and then launch the manual's interface.
