@fordvideoguy For the dealers that are forcing the buyers to get a "refund" check instead of paying the protected price at purchase, do you know if they check includes the extra taxes that had to be paid?

Mine is also kind of meh. Initially, they want 2k for their stupid ass Texas protection Package that's worth 300$ at most. But I got them to finally drop it. I haven't picked my up yet, but have been informed they do they price protection by sending you a check for the difference some 6-8 weeks...

Yo, so the quick of it is is that my dealer is saying they do price protection by sending a check in the mail for the difference after all is said and done. Everything I've read/watched says they should lower it at the time of purchase. Any idea of to how this?
