Driving the Maverick in to work this morning I was smiling, again, it's just fun to drive and I really love the truck.
For those that have the truck, go out and give her a hug today, I bet you're enjoying her and you should thank her for being part of your day haha!
For those waiting; she is...
Yup, that is how the first beauty mark appeared lol, one month in. Thankfully it was low speed, with no injuries, and the daughter learned a valuable lesson with backing up her car.
In the end, it's only gonna be a license plate holder replacement and I will have to live with the 3/4"...

Who is using what in regards to aftermarket accessories for the center armrest storage area, its a large space but overly deep. I see some good solutions with drawers and trays. Wondered if anyone has tried and their reviews?
Finally my turn to post that my baby is home!!! Picked her up an hour ago. The drive home already has me grinning.
I will do a full and honest write up after about 500 miles. All I can say is itās worth the wait folks!!!!
All I can say is the wait is finally over!!! Gotta love a great dealership and excellent salesman; got an after hours call that the transport just dropped off my baby at the dealership tonight!
Tomorrow morning canāt come soon enough. š
Quick observation and all I ask is that you internalize it for a moment before you yell at me for posting LOL.
The wait has been extremely long, a year plus for some, there have been many frustrations and poor communication as well. All that has caused what appears to be some shorter fuses...
Checked the status yesterday, the truck has been "in production" for about two weeks according to the tracker. This morning it shows a date under the production bubble, assuming the 10/3 date is that it finally hit the assembly line. What have you all been seeing for approximate build times once...
Just spoke to my friend who is the internet sales manager at a fairly high-volume dealer here in CA. He already has ten orders on his desk awaiting submittal when things open and the phone has had heavy traffic all morning. Stated that several more customers have come in this morning to order...

After receiving my VIN a week ago I wanted to re-live the joy of sitting in a Maverick as I wait for...
After my shocking phonecall last week with Ford Chat where I was issued a VIN my excitement has rekindled, I had accepted that I wasnāt going to get built and roll over to MY 23.
However, when I go to the tracker it still only shows order confirmed, it does show a VIN assigned to my order...
Ordered in January, last week before order closure, dealer stated 4K not an option for order (XLT FX4 2.0 AWD). Anyone hear this? I canāt confirm and it was still on Fords build site.
I have an F-150, this is just my commuter, so itās not necessary but itās a nice addition. Maybe they knew it...
