Just some observation/opinion from me on the '26 Lariat. I've owned a lot of vehicles over the years and know that just a few PSI can make a difference in handling and ride/comfort.
So, when I got my Lariat (with it's 225/55 R19 Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT tires unevenly overinflated from...
So I've used the Rain-X fluid in previous vehicles for years. Seems when I google it some folks think it will adversely affect the level sensor.
Is it safe for use with the Maverick?
I am, in all probability, some sort of clod-brained user. So I thought I'd document my thick-headedness publicly.
On the 2026 Lariat, there is one button on the steering wheel which controls both the lane keeping assist *and* the lane centering assist (the former is standard, the latter is part...
All, I used to have a nice automotive tire pressure gauge, it was a pencil type, all metal including the gauge part. I got it many (many!) years ago from my boss when I was a tire tech and it was always dead accurate, he in turn sourced them from a local tire supply warehouse. It did not have...
So I have 31,000 Ford "points". I have a Lariat with pretty much everything I want, including a maintenance plan, plus added Mabett mud flaps, Maxzina tailgate assist, other odds and ends like a silicon protecter for the cupholder area, center console organizer trays, Curt hitch, Rough Country...
Like in the thread title, my seat belt minder pop-up seems to have changed the way behaves. I do have three dummy buckles plugged into the rear seat belt receivers because I have a dog bed platform thing covering the seats all the time.
Before: Seat belt minder pops up, stays for 60 seconds...
My truck is parked outside and the pollen is heavy. The moonroof seals are now coated in pollen and of course this makes a groaning sound when it opens.
What can I get at the local auto parts place to clean and lubricate the seals that won't damage the rubber? What does everyone use?
EDIT: I bought the tri-fold, thanks for the input folks.
Welp, I have decision paralysis. I'm looking between two Rough Country bed covers, have eliminated the idea of the inexpensive soft or tri-folds. I know there are many threads on the topic, mea culpa for being indecisive.
Hard Roll Up...
For sure some sound deadener will help. My '26 with the B&O seems to waste a lot of energy on the door cards as well as vibrating the rearview mirror enough to make it almost comical. I know sound deadener won't help with the mirror.
And yes, I need the volume up for my rock 'n roll because...
Hello everyone. After waiting some years I finally traded my '19 Grand Caravan GT for a '26 Lariat Hybrid Maverick. It's the first new vehicle I've purchased in decades, my retirement buggy.
The difference in the driving experience is stark, the Maverick is so much more like the '13 Escape...
