New owner of a 2025 Mav XLT AWD Hybrid here and today I poked my head underneath to have a look at the spare tire. Much to my surprise and shock, it sure looks like the hot exhaust from the tail pipe is melting some of the plastic just below it. I've only got 1500 miles on it, mostly highway...
While checking for parts for a Honda Civic I have, just out of curiosity I checked for Maverick parts too.
I found it interesting that none of the five largest salvage yards near me have a single Maverick on the lot. I guess that's a good sign? :)
Noob here, trying to set up some cross bed dividers and I'm not sure what Ford had in mind with these holes in the bed.
Am I supposed to somehow secure the 2x4 or 2x6 to the bed using these holes?
What am I missing here?

What's the one tool that I'm likely to forget to pack to take care of maintenance or get me out of a jam?
New 2025 XLT Mav owner here, so I have to ask, why are there so many open holes in the bed sidewall?
I'm guessing they're for accessories or features for the top of the line trim vehicles, but why are some of the holes plugged and some are open? Isn't that an invitation for snow/rain to get in...
