10 minute video is surprisingly devoid of technical details, but at least you will know that it is supposed to be coming this fall! Spoiler alert, the ICE drives only the generator!
I'm a big Oil Geek fan! Most of his videos are data based and this one is a doozie!
Deep dive indeed, too deep for me being a hybrid guy. This slog thru actual data is likely of most interest to Ecoboost drivers, The two presenters also speak to diesels during this 2 hour video. As always YMMV...
I would like to be able to preheat my Maverick's 2.5 engine next winter. I couldn't find a Maverick with an engine heater on the lot.
I've used ducted heat from a milkhouse heater in the past for vehicles that didn't have a bottom splash cover.
Any ideas?
I know very little about Sync. I recently turned off all connectivity(ford pass etc.) on my Maverick's infotainment unit to lessen it's impact on my original 12V battery state of charge.
This appears to be a more elegant way of doing the same thing while retaining some useful functions. YMMV
Anyone have experience with cheap soft roll-up bed covers?
I don't plan to carry anything in the bed regularly, FWIW.
Thanks for any input / stories!
Finnster...
I'm not going to be tossing any engine blocks or corrosive chemicals into my Mav's bed.
I'm looking for a cheap bed mat alternative that doesn't weigh too much.
My guess is that these will stay planted even in an open bed, due to their being riddled with holes.
Has anyone tried using these...
I'm considering going to heavy, great looking alloys as summer wheels, Same tires! Total difference in individual wheel weights is 10.25 pounds more for each alloy wheel. New Alloys: 36.10 lbs. vs aftermarket Steelies: 25.85 lbs. each.
My question is, does anyone here have actual experience...
I just found a 2025 Maverick XL (4K tow, CP360) at a local Ford dealer for MSRP - $4,000!!!!! NO JOKE!
If I don't buy it tomorrow, I'll release it's location. If you have any questions I will try to answer them tomorrow evening.
I think the price drop is related to the approaching end of June...
