  1. What is the best way to protect the lower body from stone chips?

I think they're ugly as hell but some deep pocket fender flares might help. Ford's part # is VNZ6Z16268B
  2. Unidentified rubber pad in 2022 Maverick...

I suspect this is W720421S300, a plug that goes into the sheet metal below the carpeting. I don't have any photos in my catalog but from the illustration that seems right. It's shameful that Ford's parts cataloguing has become a guessing game. Other possibilities include but are NOT limited to...
  3. What essential staple items do you keep in your Maverick?

Jumper cables, ratchet straps, tarps, machete, hatchet and inflator all under rear seat. Map pocket has paper towels and a mag lite where I can grab it if I need to. Tucked behind passenger seat is 2 backpacks with clothes, water, jerky and a few edibles. On road trips, my 12 gauge fits nicely...
  4. Mabett seat covers installed photos

The points should show up on your pass app a few weeks after purchase. Each point is half a penny, you can use them at your dealer and I believe on Ford accessories.com but I haven't used that site for purchasing.
  5. Full size spare question

Not quite a donut but not true full sized either. I loved finding that out for my AWD
  6. Mabett seat covers installed photos

Neoprene should be waterproof but I doubt the seams are. I'm not certain if they are claiming to be. But they breathe nicely.
  7. Mabett seat covers installed photos

Those are pretty close to what I had for the 1st year in my Mav, and I had the same take. Then I got the neosupreme covers from Ford accessories part # VNZ6Z 15600D20 C with Pass points. I can't account for how much more comfortable they made my maverick to drive, especially on road trips.
  8. Call me old fashioned. Silver wheels on a silver Maverick.

MSW type 19T 17x7, got mine at tire rack
  9. Front Bumper/Sensor damaged from gravel - Ford can't find part

The cover is NZ6Z17E810AA, 47 showing in memphis. The sensor inside is NZ6Z9E731A. I see 21 of those in memphis. I can't imagine you'd need the bracket but it's NZ6Z14C022A with 36 in memphis.
  10. Tailgate Bed Lock Question

NZ6Z14A412A is for manual tailgate lock, NZ6Z14A412B is for power t/g lock and it supersedes to NZ6Z14A412C
  11. 2022 Maverick XL Eco-Boost MPG

With a level kit and 245/70r17's I've been getting 21 in town and 26-28 on the highway. On the freeway though, over 70 I'm getting about 24.
  12. Headliner Issues after Side Airbag Recall Replacement

I had my recall done and zero issues, nothing worth worrying about. Look it over when you pick it up and if there is any dirt or fitment issues bring it up right away and take pictures.
  13. 87 Octane?

I run 87 in my ecoboost. But I only get it from Costco, or if on a road trip, Chevron. I have experimented with premium and found it wasn't worth the $ difference. Slightly better MPG but I couldn't tell a difference in performance.
  14. How to get maintenance records if you're not original owner?

Call the dealership's service department and ask them for a copy of history on your vehicle by VIN. They should be able to tell you what was done at their dealership using their dealer management system and on FMC dealer, they can run your vin and give the total warranty history. If they won't...
  15. Low dust brake pads? Issues changing out pads?

Same on mine. I actually expected to have a lot more scrubbing to do on my wheels.
  16. Things I hate about my Maverick after 20k miles (from a Maverick lover)!

The shift knob is my biggest peeve. Mainly because it takes twice as long to do a 3 point turn as my Ranger did.
  17. Did They Fix It?

I really don't get the hype on these yeti's. I went on a road trip, primed mine with hot water then filled it with coffee and 4 hrs later it was cold. It's also a pain to drink out of while driving. I just can't see why people pay over $30 for these, seems like a fad. Mine is sitting on the...
  18. Which size??? 245/65/17, 245/70/17, 245/75/17

No, nothing to see. I just stopped cranking the wheel fully when I back in.
