P.S. In addition to the engine shield, look at the spoiler under the front bumper and the little ones in front of each wheel. They are easily damaged when heading into a parking spot with a high curb or a parking block etc.

If you had an oil change or for any reason the shield under the engine was removed for service, I would start there. Hard to describe how the shield fits, but the aft edge tucks up on the frame member. Also check that all the T30 fasteners are in place. I forget exactly how many there are - 13 ???

As of this morning, happy July 4th, my very small local dealer shows 42 Mavs in inventory. Over half are hybrids - they are still trying to get +$1000 ADM for hybrids. Most are blue label but a few are special orders that people ditched.

No problem while driving but have spun it to N unintentionally a time or two when maneuvering. The detent should be firmer and require more force to turn past it. That would help counting clicks when shifting from D to R etc.

According to my quick research, the TPMS alerts the driver when tire pressure is 25% below recommended. That means for our Mavs it doesn't alert until the tire has 26 psi. So driving around w/AC and TP in th, say 28 range won't set off the alert but will reduce your MPG.

Same happened to me. I just used my shop vac and a poker to coax the debris to the opening where my vac sucked it up. Did that a couple or three times while I waited for my $16 cover to arrive in the mail. Pricey but worth it.

Not to detract from your post but I went with the DIY solution, all parts including the GadCAD3D lenses came to $50 and I didn't need to remove the emblem. I prefer the OEM look to Mabett's rather gimmicky look and function.

My tire pressure was 45 psi when I picked it up. As others have said, adjust your pressure. Do it first thing in the morning before you have driven it and before the sun beats down on the black rubber, heating it up and increasing TP with it. 35psi cold.
