The important thing to remember is that the warranties are based on mileage OR years. Meaning 36000 miles or 3 years for the bumper to bumper warranty. I put on about 20,000 miles per year, so I'd be out of the bumper to bumper warranty in 1.5 years. An extended warranty, for bumper to bumper...
that doesn't make any sense. all this device is doing is acting as a proxy between your phone and the head unit... so as far as the head unit is concerned, you have your device connected via a wired connection.

If they're backed up to the cloud you don't need to keep them physically on your device. I'm assuming Apple works similarly to Google in that you can still browse your backed up photos on your phone as if they're locally stored on your device
why are you not backing up your photos to the cloud? I've got thousands and thousands of photos in my Google Photos account, any new photo/video I take gets sync'd right away. I could lose my phone and not lose any irreplaceable photos or videos.
