How well does the ceramic keep the heat from sun out of the car? I don't really need dark tints, but was considering adding the ceramic to help against the hot summer sun.

I like the idea of the external shade. I wonder how effective a ceramic tint would be on the windows?

I like mods that are easy to install. These were very easy to install, and fitment looked really good.

We don't have to worry about inspections here in Alabama. It only takes a minute to swap them out though, so pretty easy for the inspection.

To get back onto the original post. I bought my Lariat Hybrid a few months ago and I had a very hard time finding one. My first choice was ruby red, followed by azure or carbonized grey. Black was second to last of my choices but is what I ended up with because I'm too impatient to order one...

I like how eco mode improves the mpg, but the lack of response from the throttle really is a turn off.

After seeing the front side marker mod the OP put on his, I had to do that mod! It makes a huge difference for such a small change IMO.

I read somewhere that eco mode in the AWD will tell the truck to only use FWD. I may just be passing rumors though. As you get old you start to hear things, so that's my defense.

Very informative review! Your color was my second choice under the red. I'm very happy with mine and will probably only get a newer one if they ever come out with a plug-in hybrid version. Do a search for mods because there are some really good ones you can add.

At first, I was against the BAP because I thought it was overpriced without adding much especially for a Mav with black exterior, but now that I have the BAP I am loving it.
