I was looking for this same thing - might have been my post you saw with a pic of the actual Ram one (my BIL has a Ram 1500 and that tray making a flat area in the backseat is the only thing good about it). Hoping someone comes up with something.
Guys. GUYS. I got it. I picked it up today from Chapman on the Blvd in Philly. I’ll try to post pics tomorrow. Not affected by the recall. Everything was smooth as butter. And it's *fantastic*. Got 40.4 MPG in mostly highway and up mountains driving today for ~130 miles. After NINETEEN MONTHS...
Okay guys & gals - it's been about 24 hours since this bombshell hit. I've been religiously refreshing the recall site with my VIN (build date 5/5/23), and I'm seeing "You’re all set! There are no recalls for this vehicle." constantly.
Has anyone else started with "no recalls" in that tracker...
I've been refreshing that site basically every hour since last night, no recall yet, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. I have a June 5 ETA and dealer says Smart Vincent shows no recalls, but that could change in an instant if this recall is slowly rolling out by date/VIN.
So, what do you think, @theway-yay-ting ? Are we going to get ours? My ETA was two days ago which would have been fine; now it's June 5, and I'm feeling doom & gloom about ever getting it with this wide recall/stop shipment.
Nineteen months tomorrow from original order. Just a few weeks away from the 600 day club. ETA was yesterday at the dealer, but the holiday pushed back some deliveries, I was told it'll be there and ready on Monday the 5th. Now - probably not.
Can't believe I keep getting my hopes up for this...
Huh. Just tried this myself on a vehicle ABOUT to be delivered, and it's a no show:
My built date was May 5, within the 'recall window'. Does this mean I might be clear and this 19 month old order may get delivered next week?
EDIT: I plugged in just 2023 Maverick, and the only recall shown...
Oh my god... is this for real? My ETA was yesterday in Philly; it got pushed to early next week. It's probably on a semi truck somewhere in the northeast right now. If this is the real deal, will they hold it and I'm stuck until Q4?
1 - The bed is over 6' long diagonally, put the tool in that way.
2 - Leave the tailgate open.
3 - Get a shorter garden tool.
Or just enjoy that the Maverick checks all the other boxes.
This is a GREAT video - I've actually already watched it a couple of times! You didn't say specifically on the colors from the Kia harness, but it sounds like the solid black (you said "middle") goes to yellow (constant) and black w/white stripe to switched?
