  1. Hyundai takes direct jabs at Maverick in new Santa Cruz ad!

I actually saw a Santa Cruz in real life for the first time the other day (a little old lady was driving it, which was kinda funny for some reason). In my opinion, the SC looks much better in real life than through video or pics, its pretty neat. However, I'd still rather have my Maverick as it...
  2. 2" Woolworth Lift Kit installed

How long did it take you to install the lift and how difficult was it in your opinion? I know Robbie posted a video of the install, but I assume that he's installed those lifts tons of times and could do it blindfolded. I have the 2" rangerlift sitting in my garage and just haven't done it yet...
  3. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

Updated my parts list post to show the correct stud part number and install photos. Linking it here to notify the thread community.
  4. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

No problem. Just take note of the edit. If you use the stud mentioned in the parts list, it will lift the cover up a bit in the driver side corner. I put a new part number in that might be a better fit but I haven’t received it yet.
  5. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

Looks promising. I’ll be ordering one to try it out. Good find!
  6. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

I don’t think it really dampens any engine sound, at least in my own opinion. I would say some sort of hood roof liner would be more beneficial if you are wanting to lower the decibels.
  7. 2" lift kit from Fordrangerlifts installed and review, including off-road

I know that they are different vehicles, but I wonder if it would be possible to center the rear wheels with something similar to this. Surely there are some parallels. https://mfcoffroad.com/products/rear-wheel-centering-kit
  8. Buschur's Maverick 2.0 oil separators DONE!

Ordered my can a few days ago. After reading through the thread, I'm excited to get my can and install it. Quick question though, with this being a completely enclosed system, what is the expected lifespan until the can will need to be replaced? Or is this one of those, "it will last longer...
  9. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

I would assume that you could omit that particular stud if you wanted to. The other 3 studs secure it nicely and its definitely not gonna come off, but I haven't tried it. It might bounce up and down a tiny tiny bit on that corner, but like testa422 said, I doubt you would be able to hear it...
  10. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

Went out and pulled F2GZ 6A957 A off to compare it to F2GZ 6A957 B. Here is a comparison photo. F2GZ 6A957 B actually has a longer stud and less threads. So I believe that F2GZ 6A957 A is actually the correct part. Maybe its supposed to mount that way?
  11. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

Just went out and looked at mine, and its the same. I actually did not notice this upon the initial install, but I just did a 300+ mile road trip with no issues. Checked to make sure everything was still tight and in place, so I will probably just keep it as is. Also, I ordered F2GZ 6A957 B as...
  12. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

When I ordered my parts, I ordered F2GZ 6A957 B along with F2GZ 6A957 A. Comparing both of them in a side by side, the only difference (that I could see) was the thread count. The threads are about half the size on F2GZ 6A957 B. The actual black plastic stud part is identical. I can do a...
  13. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

****EDIT**** Updated to include the correct drivers side corner mounting stud part number as well as updated install photos. My apologies to anyone who bought the wrong part, I paid for it also if that means anything. It was not my intention to post misleading info, so I apologize. Also...
  14. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

So So I was thinking about it this morning and I decided to do the legwork and go straight to the source. Gonna head up to the dealership (hopefully today) which is not so far from me and see if I can get a look at an escape that has the cover set up and see what it looks like. There may be...
  15. Engine Cover installed in 2.0L Ecoboost Maverick engine bay (From Escape)

Hey guys, created this account just to post on this thread. Figured I'd give some info on this topic as I am trying to figure it out along the way. This mod seems like it should be simple, but I've found myself on a bit of a parts hunt. I am having some issues finding the correct Engine Valve...
