Weird thing about ethanol:
It need not be accurately labeled so long as the mix meets quality standards.
When if comes to regular unleaded I think 15% is allowed but not mandatory which makes 12% a possibility.
E15
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) defines E15 as gasoline blended...

Sounds like your 2025 is behaving the same as my 2022.
Took me a long time and a lot of watching carefully to notice:
Voltage can be high 14's and you still get little to no recharging because the current (amps) were being held back to almost nil.
If I didn't see it I would not...
1968 Rolls Royce Phantom (ok not many on the road) 6,045 lbs.
Between 1959 and 1969 various widely produced Cadillac Fleetwoods: 4900 to 5700 lbs.
1960 Lincoln Continental: 5712 lbs.
1960's Cadillac Deville: 5010 lbs.
1973 Chrysler Imperial: 5256 lbs.
Point is:
Cars were HEAVY before...
1963
Cars with chrome instead of plastic weighed over 6,000lbs.
Parking lots will be fine.
The well equipped car below "floats" down the road at around 6,000 lbs.
Thinking outside the box....
Would a "base plate" also provide a way to add recovery hooks? Maybe even a quick connect hook attachment to the attachment point to your RV?
All I want is a baseplate.
What I really want to do is put a 2" hitch receiver on the front. To hold small Items like bike or scooter that I cannot put on the rear.
I will have a camper attached to the rear. So I don't need anything electrical up front. Just a universal mount.
Ideas? Cost...
Naw.
Changes were very minor.
And my 2022 gets high EV power (double) for a few moments on a restart with a full battery.
Mine can. It's not mechanical. It's just not programmed. Also may be wire gauge related. Would be interested to know the gauge of the battery wire used in 25's and 26's...
Did you guys stop and chat?
How do you know he was balls to the wall? How do you know if his battery was charged or empty? Was there any burning rubber on his part? My 2022 hybrid will burn rubber from a dead stop if I floor it with traction control off.
I'm wondering if Ford programmers are more clever than people give them credit for.
If the "set point" was either 80% or 90%, but they also knew headlamp use would top off above this; then batteries would get occasional top offs as people naturally occasionally drive with headlamps on.
Maybe...

People think our trucks do not have an ethanol sensor. But they do.
This number should be 0% on pure gas, at sea level, at "laboratory room temperature" of 20°C (68°F).
This number should be 3.5% on E10.
This number should go up with drops in temperature as cold air has more...
An EV with 400 mile range; in general will weigh 500 to 1000 pounds more than the same vehicle powered by gasoline.
More, but not dramatically more.
That weight is significant in a crash.
That weight (100 to 200 pounds per tire) is not very significant to road wear.
🤷🏻♂️
Nice.
Except your truck did not need a bigger battery. I started my Hybrid with a Lithium battery the size of a deck of cards the other day.
What you really need is a better charging routine.
In 2022-2024 and most likely all;
Running the headlamps or parking lamps a minimum of 2 hours per...
Limp mode is a mode that allows you to drive at reduced speed. Usually 25 MPH. Which was precisely my point.
Different than being stranded / stuck in the middle of a road.
Is vehicle battery current ever anything other than 1?
Look for it in the first couple of minutes after a startup. See if that is anything other than a 1.
DCLVA is what your truck is using.
Not what is charging into your 12v battery.
Vehicle battery current of 1A looks like nothing but a...
Sorry to hear that.
One thing about a hybrid is that is almost impossible to happen.
1 in 1,000,000 the engine stalls.
But 99% of the time the hybrid will still be able to drive away to a safe spot on electricity alone.
Making getting stuck in an intersection more like 1 in 100 Million chance.
I don't have a 25 or 26. So I don't have the exact steps.
But you just need to customize your trailer settings in one of the trailer menus. Set it to shortest trailer allowed.
If you can put in zero feet, do that.
If it needs a positive integer, put in 1 foot.
Then your blind spot and cross...
Strictly speaking, this whole thread is off topic. It is talk about a hypothetical truck.
I don't mind. But all things depend on your point of view.
This was were AI was in 2022.
