I live in South Florida, the only thing we have to worry about hitting here are Bentley's and old people at Publix Supermarkets. Both of which I am confident the Maxzina bull bar can withstand ;)
Thank you and no, I did not have to cut the bumper or trim. The "L" bracket mounted to the face of the inner bumper which aligns nicely with the edge of the bumper cover. The two are basically on the same plane. I used M8 rivnuts in the hollow bumper. If I were to really want it to withstand...
I jumped on it (~ 200 lbs) and no issues. The bottom brackets are support and 3/16”, the top is 1/4” bolted to the inner bumper with M8 fasteners. I don’t plan on ramming into things, but I am confident I could push another car without any bending. And if it does get bent at some point, then...
I was able to modify some Home Depot brackets and off road light brackets to add the Maxzina bull bar on my 2025 Tremor. The placement clears the parking sensors and ACC sensor. Finishing up tomorrow with cutting the bottom flush and making some lower brackets. Overall happy for a $200 project...
Thank you for sharing this. I keep seeing arguments in other threads too saying it's a unibody and basically if you wreck the car, it will explode like a pinto, and you will die a painful death. The frame will be totaled as soon as you bolt it on, etc. If this is the case, then why has Ford...
I'm definitely curious on what you come up with. During my time off for the holidays, I was thinking of pulling out the ole' Harbor Freight mig welder and see what I can whittle up myself. I was thinking of tying in a tab to the front skid plate, come up forward along the lower bumper cover...
I can agree that I don't like to drill anything through the firewall, however, I needed to run the wires from the BCM to the fog lights, a power line for a future rear amp, and a couple extra wires for just-in-case future mods, so it was going to happen regardless. Having switches look/is...
I just did it this weekend on my 25' Tremor. Pin 6 & 7 on the C2280E connector on the BCM. It's the second connector on the BCM from the bottom. There's a few good write ups on the forum here that can help with the Forscan changes. BTW- The BCM is in the passanger side footwell behind a...
It may not be reading in the HS Can mode or an adapter issue. I just updated the BCM this morning on my 25 EB. I was using Forscan 2.3.67 for windows. If you're using an app, then it may just not be reading the module properly with the adapter you have.
