I can't believe how intense it is to add one if you didn't order with one installed. I've had a truck for the last 20 years and have never towed anything but am glad that I opted to order the hitch for 100 bucks. I don't think I could manage this procedure. Thanks much for the detailed...
This looks really good on the Oxford White. I'm going to do this when mine comes in. 8 dollars on Amazon will buy you about 30 feet of this stuff. It's easy to work with. Did my vespa a few years ago. I'll probably buy 60 feet of it so I can mess up a few times. I was contemplating the larger...
If you finance through Ford and then turn around and refinance are you paying loan origination fees? Wondering if there are any upfront fees for getting a loan that would make this plan not viable?
Dealer may be mistaken. The recent info about dealers not getting any new allocations till May might have confused them. It may also be that they aren't seeing any of their custom order allocations getting filled and you are way down the line. In any case a call to the dealer to find out why...
I"m scheduled for week after next. Should be around 8 months to delivery if everything goes well. Only option I added was trailer hitch. I can't imagine how many of these there'd be on the road if the supply chain hadn't messed it up. I doubt next year will be any better.
Unless you want a Hybrid. Those won't get done any time soon. Oh, and don't do a spray in bedliner. That's a constraint. Oh yeah, no 360 copilot... or mudflaps, or maybe even trailer hitch.... Maybe you should just order an Ecoboost with no extras. Or, lets order one with everything you want and...
Be sure to take lots of before photos for when you sell it. It will have an accident on record and having good photos to show the next owner will make the sale easier. I hope parts are easy enough to procure. I'd likely check with my dealer on body shops.
Good job Marty. Maybe people are pissed that Ford took orders for trucks it can't build? Or that they aren't being honest about what is going on? Or that they aren't really communicating with customers effectively about delays? But maybe you are right and it's the fault of the people who ordered...
This will be my first hybrid. Right now I have a 1998 Ranger and a Smart Car. I use the Smart as my commuter car and the Ranger for hauling. This will replace both. It gets better mileage than my tiny Smart car which is wonder to me. The bed is tiny compared to my Ranger but I think I can make...
What would be helpful to know from people would be:
What is your current car?
What are you paying now?
What would you be paying with the Maverick?
Who is your carrier?
Yes, they make them airbag compliant. Won’t affect the deployment of the air bag. I have a set on order for my Smart car with seat airbags so I’ll see how they address it. They do assure me that they will deploy fine if needed.
Yep. Great for water and mud. I also like how stretchy they are. They fit TIGHT on the seats so they don’t slide around like other covers. Can’t really tell they are covers. I HATE seat covers that don’t fit well and slide around on the seat. Neoprene doesn’t do that.
I”m sure it’s fine. Gresham Ford has a great reputation and they have been strong supporter of our local schools where I work. I went with them over the ford dealer 2 blocks from be based on their reputation and school support. I’m sure anyone here could buy whatever truck arrives for them and...
They do great with moisture. That’s why they are used for scuba wet suits. I wipe my down with a damp cloth when they get dirty. Cleans them right up.
