I went XLT then saw that not much more with XLT over XL but then saw more xlt's being built so I stayed at XLT. If I thought I could switch to an XL and still get it I might switch to an XL, But since I have no clue I will stay with XLT.

I so agree with you. as an example of they took to many 2023 orders and know they cant possibly make them. Tell them NOW or at least in another month. I would rather be told sorry no way we can make you 2023 hybrid order sooner rather than 9 months later. .

The dealer told you you will be able to order a Maverick in 4 to 6 months. Humm I wonder if that is true. Ford would have to reopen the order banks, I hope that is true as it means I will get my ordered 2023 Maverick. I wonder if they really know that or just guessing.

If you want a maverick now look at carvana as they have them BUT be ready to pay at least 10K over msrp sometimes 20K more . I read your original post and started laughing. He thinks he can get one for a few grand over msrp off the lot. . lol.

I don't even have a Mav so I cant say. Have you tried this with yours and it had no effect? I am just going by what gpsman said. it sounded like that could be the problem. I have no clue till I get my Mav next year when ever that happens.
