If you buckle the rear belts or buy a "bottle opener" dummy latch the pop up disappears as soon as occupied front seats buckle up. If you buckle up before starting the truck you won;t see it at all.

Must be a west thing because they don't drive 55 here. If a company limits their trucks speeds is more likely for insurance reasons not for fuel economy. And in logistics time is money.
They do not fit a 2025 or 2026. They can be altered to fit and the truck altered to work with them. No retailer would advertise them as working under those conditions.
Thanks for politely saying I am WRONG.
EDIT: To follow your line of reasoning which would you prefer to rear end your Maverick? A semi going 55 or a Civic going 70? Mass kills.
I can save you 100% of your gas. Don't start the Maverick and walk! By your theory going 15 MPH will save even more. I went into the city today. I had choices of routes. 1 where the speed limit is 45 mph or the highway where it is 60 and 65 mph. The 45 MPH route will take 3 to 4 times as long...
Learned something new. Thanks.
Edit: I read some more about it. The stat I found said about 50 children a year are severely injured or killed because of it. Yet a CBS investigation from 2021 found 100 people over a 30 year span had been killed or severely injured. I wonder if the size of the...
Based on the photo we have no way of knowing if someone raised the seat and used weak hardware store bolts. 1 example would not indicate Ford has a design issue. Also anything can fail if enough force is applied.
EDIT: Thanks to @Glen Baker LLC educating me I enlarged the photo so my old eyes...
Feeling great. Life is good. If we can't laugh at ourselves others will do it for us. Just learning to not take this short visit called life so seriously.
Okay just finished my mods. You all convinced me about the need to cover the SIBL. So I installed a DIBL to protect the SIBL from gouges, a bed rug to protect the DIBL from scuffs, a bed mat to protect the bed rug from spills and to make it easier to kneel in the bed, carpet to protect the mat...
Rough Country flip hard cover. But if the cover is open I can reach right in. 1 of the reasons I bought the flip up is to access the bed. 2014 F150 had a tri-fold hard cover and didn't crawl into it either and it was full of totes for tools and equipment. See post #17.
So you didn't really...
Question to everyone posting the mat is easier on the knees. Why are you crawling into 4.5' bed? There is nothing that I can't reach from the side if it is at the front. I don't remember the last time I crawled into a truck bed. First truck in 1979 was a 1971 F100, later a 1992 Ranger, 2014...
Keep in mind they only make money from the pricing to various entities based on number of subscribers. The talk, news, comedy, sports, etc. channels that have commercials pay to be on Sirius. So Sirius, like magazines, need to keep subscribers to keep these channels paying them. I cancelled a...
I do not have a bed mat in this truck or any truck I have owned, SIBL or DIBL. My 2014 F150 I purposely bought a DIBL because it was slippery. At the time the bed was full of totes containing tools and equipment for my profession. With the DIBL I could use the cargo rod that I kept between the...
Thanks for the pics. I did install seals at the tailgate and that helped a bunch. I'm thinking maybe the seal that came with the Rough Country, which was a semi-dense foam, is the culprit and is wicking the water instead of sealing it. I'm going to order a edm seal to replace it. I do notice...
