Serious question here. How are you guys measuring the 0.5 quart (1 pint) or 0.7 quart? Are you eyeballing a measuring cup which is inaccurate? Or guestimating based on the weight of the bottle of oil? Iask because I used points for the first 2 changes and both times the level was at the top hole...
I unfortunately smoked for 30 years. Nicotine is a very addictive substance. I remember when they started mandating separate smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants. It would literally be opposite sides of the aisle, no barrier, no filtration for the air, nothing. Glad to say I am...
Saw this article this morning. A few points about it.
1. I miss the Mercury brand.
2. So glad Ford did not trademark the Durango name and let Chrysler have it.
3. I forgot just how ugly the Fairmont/Zephyr models were. But so was most everything in that era.
4. I kind of wish Ford had...
Are the 3 rear seats buckled? You quoted half of my post. Possible 2025 is different than 2024. I can only comment on how my Maverick operates not all of them. Rear seats buckled or extenders in place, driver seat buckled, NO passenger, start truck, no pop up. Now IF, a conditional clause :)...
Does in my 2024. If I have the 3 rear buckled, get in the driver seat, buckle it, then start the truck the pop up NEVER displays. If I buckle after start as soon as I buckle mine it goes away. May be different on 2025 or hybrid, don't know.
I am no expert on the software but by it's behavior it seems they took the easy route of coding for ALWAYS 3 people in the back that need buckled. I noticed that if the front belts were buckled at start it still would pop up for the rears even if no one was in the seats.
First let me apologize for my tone. Old ways springing up and I am trying to change my behavior. So I apologize.
Second my experience with truckers and shipping is heavy iron not food. East coast not west. Industry not retail.
Third I am not disputing in anyway your information of how trucking...
@Yoshienrique said " On Amazon, these say they don't fit 2025 model year, is this true. I love the look of these but don't want to spend all that if they don't fit. "
You replied they do fit, with modification. I pointed out and maintain they DO NOT FIT unless you modify them from as designed...
So if the truck can travel 10 hours at 55 MPH he can travel 550 miles. At 70 MPH it travels 700 miles. A company does not want the truck stopping for mandatory rest at 550 miles if the delivery is only 50 miles away! You LITERALLY prove the point that time is money. Truck drivers I dealt with...
