Neither my prius nor my escape hybrid will no load rev above 1500 rpm in park or neutral. My duratec v-6 engines are no load governed as well. My 3.7, 4.6, 4.9, 5.0, 5.8, 7.3 and 7.5 engines will rev to redline in neutral. I’m expecting the 2.5 atkinson to be rpm governed. Just hope it keeps...
