I don't see my dog as my pet. She's like my kid (I know that's nuts). If something happened to her after doing something like that, I'd never emotionality recover.
I opted for the rear sliding window in my XLT order. Mainly a FOMO thing. I was getting Ford Co-Pilot and another $155 seemed arbitrary at that point. Didn't even think about my dog, was thinking about potentially running long material into the cab.
Also I'll need to keep my headrests in...
I wouldn't say it's splitting hairs. It's a fairly big difference, especially when people attempt to use it in favor of the Hyundai.
You could argue bed payload is a main attraction of these trucks. Even if I weighed 500 lbs I could still load almost 400 more pounds in the bed of the Maverick...
I would say, yes. Yes you're alone. But that's not true. I'm sure others feel that way. I just personally disagree and don't think it fits what Ford seems to be trying to do with this truck.
The more I read on here the more I think that people aren't getting the market Ford was aiming to grab...
I get all that. I was really trying to get my soap box out. Just responding to that specific quote that I'd rather give it to an American company...which isn't something I disagree with.
Either way I'm getting a Maverick. I try to buy American when I can, where it works.
This can be reversed to some degree. Maybe I want the money to go to American workers working at that Korean companies plant in Alabama. Rather than the money going the executives at the American company who cut American jobs to outsource to Mexico.
So the real issue for me here is if Hyundai...
I keep mine I'm covers like these, to keep them protected. I just barrel stack them in my shed and they're out of the way
They sell racks like these that you can get to store them up and out of the way in a garage. I've seen home made versions as well, see the photo below.
I've driven a Toyota Prius for nearly the past decade in Indiana, right next door. It did great.
I was also in the tire industry for that last decade or so. I ran winter tires alot. Sold them, tested them, and researched them extensively. If you can afford it, run winter tires. They help more...
So I have owned several cars in my life. All used. All purchased from private sellers, never a dealership. I bought my 08 Prius about 8 years ago and its got almost 200k on it, time for a new car. Maverick fits the bill perfectly. Barring anything horrible when I test drive it, strong chance...
Hybrid for me 100%. I drive an 08 Prius my wife has a 14 Prius C. We like hybrids. I see no use case for my needing AWD. I don't go off-road, don't intend too. This would replace what I do day to day with my Prius but with mir capacity in the back.
Although now I may need a fishing kayak...
Those do look nice. I was thinking something more like this:
Kind of a hammock so if I hit the brakes she doesnt go flying off the seat. She's a small water buffalo, no Russian ballerina. I just don't trust things that are $23 on Amazon. Hoping someone knows of a good company that makes a...
Anyone have anything they've used or been using to cover the back seats of their truck to keep dog drool, fur, dirt, and claws off the interior.
Got a year old Basset that likes to shed and drool on my current seats.
I've seen the hammocks that people use. I've seen them on Amazon, all seem...
