Picked up the AWD 4k Hybrid and drove around Iowa visiting cousins then hit the road home. Took some time and spent nights in Liberal, KS - Los Cruces, NM -Yuma, AZ. 2200 miles on the clock in the first week.

You could probably find a good dealer closer - maybe in LA? Even Long McArthur is closer. I am doing a fly and drive. I will visit Family in Des Moines and friends along the way back. My friend just shipped his car to TN for 1200. At that price I could ship it for less then the savings: but...

Mine also shows built on 12/20. Lets see how fast they get delivered. Roshakim posted that his went from built to delivered in 6 days! Not sure if the OP here got his truck yet.

Agreed. In Sept 22 I ordered 2 2023s locally at 2 dealers. The one in Poway was the worst. I tried the one in La Mesa again but they refuse to deliver my order without hacking up the wiring for a Karr alarm. Look at my past post for more detailed whining about our local dealers. Order placed...

Back in the day My 61 Ranchero would get 27MPG on the highway. That was fully loaded with a three-wheeler, extra gas, cooler full of beer, and camping gear.

I usually leave the tailgate up so the boards are way up in the air.

I would have ordered locally but my dealer insists on installing a Karr Alarm as soon as it comes off the delivery truck.
