Were you able to get it out without scratching it up?
My passenger door has a rattle that goes away when I lightly pull the the little cutout handle... so it could be the switch but also could be what the dude in the video is showing. I'd like to go path of least resistance first.
To ad to this, when you do ceramic coat you'll want to be sure to use the right soap when washing your car.
All soaps 'work', but some will also damage or strip the ceramic coating. I was always told to use PH neutral soap or stuff specifically made for ceramic coated vehicles. Dish soap...
Wow that’s quite the rattle!
My passenger door rattles a little bit and if I pull the door handle shut while driving (not the safest thing but all in the name of troubleshooting lol) the rattle stops completely. I may have the same issue as the post above with the window switch rattling.

Just dropped it off... the service advisor told me he believes the front USB are designed to only trickle charge. Does anyone know if that is true or have documentation on what kind of output those are supposed to put out? I 100% don't believe them.
They also told me my A/C randomly blowing...
I'm dropping off my Maverick at the dealership in the morning for it's first oil change and I'm gonna hit them with a list of issues...
Phone charging VERY slow (I got 3% on a 90 minute drive today)
Rattle from passenger side
Rattle in passenger door
Rear sliding window makes a noise that...
I just removed my proclip and now that little trim piece is loose. Anyone got any tips to get it to be tight again? I hope I didn’t create a new rattle lol
I just went ahead and started the return process for my ProClip. I had one in my Mustang GT (that I traded in on the Maverick) for years and it was perfect... sucks to move away from something that was so great in previous vehicles.
basically they took my info and said I need to go to the dealership. In all fairness I told them another issue I’m having is my priority at the moment so maybe if the conversation was just about the dash rattle it would have been different.
I was able to test the USB-A port on the back of the arm rest with the same phone/cord as the one on the dash. It seems to work fine so I’m thinking I have a problem with the usb ports on the dash.
I am experiencing the same dash rattle that many (appears to be a huge percentage) are having. With something like this or other extremely common issues floating around, is there a way we can all complain to the same person/department to trigger some sort of response from Ford?
I realize it...
Yeah the Carplay works on both the USB and USB-C port, but both barely charge if at all. I tried the Ampere App on the USB port too and it wouldn't register either. I'm going to try the ports on the back of the arm rest next to see if they charge with any kind of speed.
Same. My two week old Hybrid has started the dash rattle and it’s driving me crazy.
If anyone knows the source and how to get to it, please let me know!
I downloaded an app called Ampere Test that will show you the power of the charging source while a device is charging. My charger in my office is 11w, a wireless charger I have at home is pushing 4w but the USB-C in the dash is so slow the app won’t actually read its power is so low.
I had a...
