I thought I read somewhere that the hotspot delete was going to be required for all 2023 production on the Maverick. Makes no difference to me, I wouldn't pay for a hotspot when there's plenty of phones in my house that can handle the task... For those questioning the hotspot and Ford Pass app...

Biggest issue is the 12v battery. The sitting isn’t good for it. Degradation likely will shorten the life, but not typically enough to show up at this time. As for the tires, they are over inflated to prevent flat spotting but the pressure should be lowered by the dealer before delivery. You...

If you’re expecting to only tow around 1700lbs you would be fine with even a hybrid. If it were me though, I would still go with 4k because I’ve seen few boat launches that weren’t slick as snot.

It is not possible to erase or change the factory code. the only option is to add/erase user created codes.

So if “my” Maverick is on a train headed towards me, but still shows the recall is due for that VIN, am I going to be held at the rail yard until it’s fixed? Or will they deliver it to the dealer and let them do the “repair “?

I’m in the Fingerlakes, and was driving the thruway this morning, I saw a white Maverick on a car carrier. I’m not sure what else was in there, (I was driving 80mph) but it means they are coming out of the rail yard…

this is one option that could potentially lower your payment. If it were me, I’d keep the jeep. Even pre pandemic they held their value very well, I don’t think anything is going to change that. As few miles as you drive on it, the depreciation value would be minimal from where you are now...

21 June order here. I got my email that it shipped today as well. I went on the trackers and noted that it still shows as built, then I came here to see if anyone else were in the same position. Lol.

Ford took away a knob with the temp indicated on it because of chip shortages… I wouldn’t be too concerned about a digital gauge cluster…
