Not a maverick, but I left the rear seat up 98% of the time for over ten years on my F150 and had zero problems. The rear seats still looked brand new when I traded it in.

The hybrid doesn't need one. The computer systems decide when to turn on and off the ICE. The transition from stop and go is extremely smooth with the hybrid without any hesitation.

I’m glad you both mentioned this because I’ve noticed the same thing with my driver door haha. I almost never get it shut on the first try. Just takes a little more oomph than I’ve been used to with my previous vehicle. I haven’t noticed it with any of the other doors though which is odd.
