The passenger side sill wipes into the driver's side wiper path so no real change. I'm only moving the wiper down about a half inch so it will be a half inch less travel on the left. I never got the camera blocked on rain, just snow.
I run a shorter 19" wiper and indexed the arm down one notch. It's hidden and you no longer see it when the wipers parks. The only negative is that it won't clean the camera area and in bad weather you can get a camera blocked message. Read the previous posts. I going to try a 20" to see if...
I did index the wipers down so both wipers are hidden. To move the passenger one down requires a shorter wipers because it will contact the cowl. I used a 19" and it clears but the wiper is to short and doesn't wiper the camera area. It misses by about a half inch. The travel is fine and...
I think your missing the point I'm trying to make. If you want to hide the passenger wiper from view by indexing the arm down then you need to buy a short wiper. If you buy a shorter wiper it won't clean the glass in front of the camera so you can get the occasional camera obstructed warning...
You can't do that on the passenger side because the wiper will hit the cowling. You can get a shorter wiper and make it work but the windshield camera will not wipe clean and you will get an camera fault warning.
The price of full size trucks has a lot to do with the success of the Maverick. With the economy the way it is people are looking for an affordable truck that gets good mpg. Considering most do not need a full size truck that cost 60K plus and gets 15-20mpg the Maverick was sure to be a success.
I’m using very amber bright LED light as DRL. I don’t have any other lights on during the day. When my auto lights turn on at dusk my front DRL turn off. The front marker lights and turn signals function normally.
I originally used Lasfit bulbs for DLR but the position of the LED wasn’t...
it’s been awhile since I did this but I can tell you that you can have the amber front DRL without the taillights being on constantly. That’s how mine are set on my 2024 XLT. When the DRL are on it uses the turn signal circuit while the taillight are on a different circuit. This is with non...
Well my Maverick has been at the dealership for over a month. It’s starting to get old. They have had a Ford engineer working on it but still no fix. The service writer told me that they had another Maverick come in and it has the identical problem.
The car is daily driven and I did have the software update done to prevent the battery drain and I haven’t had any sleep issues. I really like the Ford Pass app to remote start my vehicle.
So my 2024 Maverick XLT hybrid stopped communicating with Ford and the Ford Pass app does not communicate with the truck. I called Ford directly and after some on phone diag they said that they could not see the vehicle and said to bring it into the dealership. I brought it into the...
Five pages for a little seam sealer crack. If you look closer you will find that same cracking in seam sealer in other areas of the vehicle as well. It’s perfectly normal and Ford isn’t going to warranty it.
Thanks for doing all the work and figuring it out. I had used your configuration last year when I bought my 2024 XLT but when I recently brought it in for an update the BCM went back to stock. I easily figure out the hyperflash but could figure out my DRL ON with front turn signals without the...
