If someone thinks a color choice is going to significantly change the resale value then your deluding yourself. It's like doing a kitchen renovation thinking it'll drive your home value up. Doesn't change the comps.
A vehicle is worth its features, year, mileage, and condition. Maybe you can...
On the L Track, I was looking at that. How hard was it to do the counter sink? I was concerned the bits designed for it wouldn't be able to fit. And a size larger bit is fairly imprecise when working on something that is holding cargo while moving.
Concern with this is if there is a run on parts for an accessory they could hold the whole vehicle up over it. If I can easily get it done after receiving (see bed liner) or install myself (see rails, tonneau) I'd rather not risk putting the order on hold for $50
Agreed
Agree, really shouldn't conflate the separate issues. If they get the OP credit report or a collection service involved they won't care. Deal with the two issues separately.
Lots of internet tough guys here. But if they can show it truly is the difference in tax charged you likely owe it. There will most likely be a clause in your contract for covering the tax. Validate the claim, and if it is truly tax I wouldn't get into a battle. They can turn it in to your...
Are you able to switch to Tremor after order is in (and potentially after order banks close)? I know you can't change engines or trims, but this is a package. Pretty major package and will be constraint so could see it going either way.
I tried to pay a deposit. Figure it would be good for me, and good for dealer. Good for me to get some skin in the order so they don't try sell to someone else. Good for them to hold some cash for a number of months.
They told me they don't do deposits. Just not part of their system so didn't...
Ended up with the FX4 and 4k. Wanted radiator and tow more than loft and locking rear.
Was talking about the truck and joked about a small camper. Shockingly she is interested... Glad I got the 4k now!
Good thought. I had thought similar. Didn't see on Ford's accessories page. I was hoping to avoid the dealer and order online since the install should be pretty easy.
Good news, there are many months until it comes in for me to figure it out...
To me it's not about the flipping. It's the taking a vehicle away from a person who has an order in at MSRP so you can flip one. Not illegal, not even wrong really in my opinion. If I met someone doing it in person, I'd shake their hand, offer a beer, and have a little debate.
But I don't like...
Put my '23 order in. Didn't get the bed liner and bed tie down system. Was hoping to avoid the liner constraint. And didn't want the rails in place before I do an aftermarket bed liner.
I know there is a video for a DIY rail system which looks decent. Also a number of aftermarket systems. But...
I was told the order was placed on Thursday by salesman. I don't think it was. Had some communication with sales manager Friday and was told I'd see an email shortly. Then got an email from Ford about an hour later.
If they tell you up front, don't love it but it's up to you as you can go elsewhere. If they don't it really messed up.
But neither of these impact other orderers from getting an truck. For every Maverick built for someone that doesn't really want It is a Maverick not going to someone waiting...
Huh? You don't have to go to the dealership (I didn't) to put in the order and unless you bought used private (which would likely have been more not less than this model) you went through a dealer before too.
Did you replace the wheels or just tires? Assume you mean just the tires. That's what I was seeing the Falken Wildpeaks are under $200 per
I read the Pirelli clears water well. Agree on that. Big reason I want AWD and some truck manners for the flooding.
Yeah, but tires are zero sum. So if I...
