All, really appreciate the feedback. Few things clarifying and also notes from some general comments.
1. It was a yellow XLT at Toyota of Katy off 10 near Mason. Since they want 40k for a used 27k truck not sure if it'll fly off the shelf if anyone is in the area looking for a drive.
2. The...
Hmmm... Nope. My CX-50 was outlier enough, hence it dropping off. We really want a bed to throw wet gear and such. Maverick vs Ridgeline is barely a fair contest, really it has to be a fully loaded one but still its an old school V6 vs new generation V4 turbo. Fully loaded Mav still 4-5k less...
Bed is 6" shorter, and it shows when you look at it. Not sure if that translates into the bad but it is a negative against the SC. But the trunk under bed and integrated tonneau cover were big positives of SC.
It could be more the position of the seat to the door up front. My wife can't bend her knees well so needs a lot of room at the door to swing her legs in. It's one reason she loves sedans easier to get in and out of (she has one, not going to happen for me). My son simulated that condition and...
So I went by 4 dealers and drove 4 vehicles that have been in consideration. The plan was to only drive the Maverick, but to be honest we weren't sold. In fairness the Maverick was a XLT so not in the same class for amenities as others. But my son was concerned the Maverick was a little cramped...
Agreed, I thought the question was making your user codes. Master codes are set in stone as is typically on any of these electronic locks. They always have a master code that you have to save for resetting and such.
If I misunderstood the question apologies
Yep, quite simple. Type in master code, press. 1,then 5 digit code you want to use.

First I feel for you and your frustration. It is understandable. Reasonable responses like yours I get.
Second, the point of canceling orders benefiting the dealers was the point I was making also. Hitting a reset and making customers reorder is a pain. But it will filter out orders, reduce the...
So I know I'm the new kid on the block but I have been lurking for months before joining. I also acknowledge I have not ordered yet so it is easy for me to say this...
But first all those complaining about being sickened by Ford, speak with your wallet and move on. No one is forcing you to buy...
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but did you end up getting your truck? Tomball Ford is close to my work, so getting from them may make sense if they play nice with the purchase process
If you don't mind me asking, what does "not outrageous" mean for add ons? I. E. what where they, how much, and did they actually do them (horror stories of the adds not even ending done).
Got my Red Heeler from the pound in Conroe. Best dog I've ever had. Not afraid of a drive for the right reason.
They charged $529.for tint and wheel locks. Optional or required? What extent was the tint? Not terrible for a good quality tint on all windows.
Houston too (well Katy but close enough). Working through which dealer to use. Thinking of Rosenberg, but Sewell is supposed to be honest as well. I'll kniw exactly what I want so just need someone honest to out the order in right. Not in a hurry won't need it for a year plus so more interested...
I will never, ever do business with Autonation. Unfortunately they are the closest dealer to me in Katy.
Back in 2016 I took my 2014 Jeep Cherokee in for service at Autonation Jeep. 4 days later the wheel fell off while I was driving it. Had it towed to them to address, clearly they did not...
Hello all. I've been lurking for a while trying to get a sense of where things are on this cool new truck. My son turns 16 in November of '23 and the plan is for him to inherit my Edge and I get something new.
Been looking and this and a few others. Really like the idea of a bed to throw wet...
