Paul actually there is a scheduling feature in the Ford Pass App that allows you to schedule the start time (again, this is available for all trim packages as it is through the app). You have to go to Vehicle -> Scheduled Start. It's one over from the home screen and next to vehicle status on...
Hoping for all of you to get your trucks this week! I have a friend that worked for Union Pacific, could definitely ask him how the transport system works haha.
It's not the best... blurry or low res is the best way to describe it (480p vs 1080 etc.)... I've been driving mine for a week or so and use it for parking in the city/ backing up out of driveway etc. It could be better for sure.. it works, but I would expect just a touch better camera quality...
This is what I bought the truck for... I can also angle the bike in just fine and tilt the bed up if wanted as another option. First ride to the track with the new vehicle and it was smooth.
Put my stainless steel lettering on tonight in the cold... no issue. Will snap a pic tomorrow in the light as well. Carbon gray mav with stainless steel lettering combo.
Same here... Ford Maverick XLT FX4 ecoboost with the stock Pirelli tires and it's very very quiet for me, I don't have any rattling, vibration, hood shake, etc. Only thing I hear is the faint noise of the turbo and it's hardly anything.
I actually found a cancelled order Maverick all the way from Virginia (Ted Britt) for essentially MSRP + shipping. I had my order through Awesome Ford though originally.
Coming from a 1996/2002 Ford Ranger, and in addition right before I got my Maverick, a 2018 Toyota Tacoma SR5 V6 4X4 rental for a month... this truck feels very nice to me. It drives more like a sporty truck/car than a big truck does. To me it feels similar to the Tacoma I had for a month, just...
No not bad at all after accounting for inflation from 1994 to today... the actual value of that $11,600 is ~$21k. Right in line with current Maverick baseline prices.
The dealer I bought my truck from was quick to get me to download the app and connect it for me (I had my vehicle delivered across the country) so I could track the vehicle. My points showed up in less than a week from when I downloaded app, connected/input my VIN and purchased the vehicle.
Bumping... looking to get my front windows and windshield tinted to match, has anyone else had theirs done and know %? Seems like 20-23% range thus far. I'm assuming, in addition, it also depends on the tint film material/brand being applied to a degree as far as matching %?
I went ahead and got a quote for ceramic coating just to see... it was $1500 and therefore not worth it for me given I'll be taking my truck to the motocross track and loading a dirtbike in it weekly, etc. However, I did see Carbon_Mav on here with his build thread that used Carpro Hydro2 that I...
Haha fair enough I suppose lol! Not sure when Grays Harbor MX will be back for spring riding but will take some trips up that way and into Seattle to visit some friends.
