In my biased opinion you purchased one of the best vehicles on the market in terms of value for your dollar. Unheard of mileage, good power, smooth ride, lots of comforts and conveniences, lots of interior room, and a beauty of a truck. Did I mention you also get a truck bed so you can haul stuff?
You are correct. I'm surprised by how clean the engine bay stays in the Maverick. That being said, I guess you could say I'm part OCD, and I like keeping my Maverick as much showroom clean as possible.
If someone already has not mentioned it, I shall. This is where Ford's 2025 360 cams would have come in handy. We have it on our Hyundai Palisade and it gives you an overhead view of your surroundings as you maneuver in and out of tight spaces. Should be standard on every vehicle.
One of my first mods was to emphasize what my truck was by highlighting the tailgate brand. The woman's reaction is very typical . . . people love the compactness and utility of the Maverick. By the way, did you break the news to her that the green is only available for one of the years?
My first mad was a hard tonneau cover and a bed rug. Water drips will happen, but mostly dry and secure. Cover locks with doors. Got mine at Real Trucks. Don't miss having trunk or hatchback.
Have to say I like the look! I'm a bit wary of adding too much cosmetics to an already beautiful truck, but the rear spoiler adds rather than diminishes. Thanks for posting.
Sharp looking Maverick! Welcome to the club and here's to many miles and years of safe and happy travels. Feel free to post your experiences as we love to hear about our favorite truck.
It's most likely just a cost-cutting decision. I don't think Ford is involved in any seat cushion conspiracy, but, they have been known to be unethical, so I understand your suspicions.
I wasn't aware of Ford acknowledging that the 12v battery (AGM) is an ongoing problem. I have only read about one or two owners who have trouble with an AGM battery. Are there a few bad 'apples' in the manufacturing? Of course. I'm not saying it isn't a problem, but definitely much better...
