  1. Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control

Most would probably agree with you. There are some folks who live in higher humidity climates and frankly, sweat a lot. For myself, I'm not admitting to either. LOL. These covers help eliminate that 'dank' feeling one can get.
  2. Behind the rear seat carseat brackets

Apologies if I'm not completely understanding, but what if you purchased two tether extensions and just left them attached to the back of the seat. Then you could easily connect/unconnect from the extended tether's other end. No?
  3. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

According to Amazon, the UPLUS battery has a 3yr warranty and they have fixed offices in CA & GA., but no mention of how one would replace other than hands on. I know some vendors would just say keep the bad battery and they will just ship you a replacement. I would agree having the convenience...
  4. Squirrel saving nuts in my rear brakes!

I think you won the internet for the most improbable reason for an annoying noise in your vehicle. Luckily for both of you, the squirrel wasn't doing it when you drove off.
  5. Behind the rear seat carseat brackets

Grandpa here, as well. Grandchildren past the age of needing a car seat, but not hoping for any great grand children too soon. Back to your issue. Sounds like a longer tether would solve your concern. You could leave it draped over the back support cushion making it easy to attach and then...
  6. It's just a minor scrape . . .

Tough call. I'd be a little suspicious of the 'not 100%'. You could probably do it yourself at "not 100%". If you're planning on keeping the truck for a good amount of time, I'd say do it right. There are those that aren't that fussy about their vehicles and that's fine, but you sound as if you...
  7. A little concerened!

According to Ford, the Maverick only has battery problems when not in use for awhile. I would take that with a boulder of salt and be prepared. Two routes to take; bring along a jump start unit or better yet, just replace the wet cell battery with an AGM. I can pretty much guarantee you won't...
  8. Maxzina new release coming! Cargo bar, bed divider molle panel, bed extender, tail light cover, seat back molle panel

Definitely something to be cautious about. I don't know how much protection plastic would provide for the lens coverings, but if they would save me from having to replace a pricey item, then it might be worth it. I agree with you in that I would need to see them in hand.
  9. Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control

Initially, I got just one for the driver's seat, but then I too fell victim to the wife's complaining about burning her legs. Fair enough, but when I told her I'd be happy to get a second one, she said, "No, it's fine." We all know what that means . . . the opposite. I let her burn her legs for...
  10. Help Test New Release Demand---Roof Rear Guard

Ok, then it was partially your bad call. Glad to hear no damage to truck or yourself. You are forgiven. Go in peace. ;)
  11. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

The size, H4, is the correct size for your Maverick. Price is about what others are charging. Battery manufacturers will make identical batteries, but will contract out to different retailers, so your Walmart battery is probably no different than a number of other 'brands'.
  12. Help Test New Release Demand---Roof Rear Guard

Definitely not your fault. More like a bad design by the manufacturer.
  13. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

Keep looking. There's quite a few out there. Just need to find the right vendor. I honestly don't remember where I got mine in 2022.
  14. Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control

They do a great job of keeping my backside from sweating. The Lariat has the faux leather upholstery which is much less porous than the cloth seats in the XL/XLT. Three speeds, easy to put on and easy to remove when the weather cools down. Ran the USB cable from the rear USB ports, so less cord...
  15. Maxzina new release coming! Cargo bar, bed divider molle panel, bed extender, tail light cover, seat back molle panel

Neat stuff! Thanks for supporting the Maverick with thoughtful and useful accessories. Am I the only one who likes the tail light covers?
  16. 2022 to 2025 Maverick. Thoughts/comparisons..

Love the red! Thanks for posting the comparison. Many will find it helpful.
  17. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

You're very welcome! Glad to be of help. Life will be better without the annoying deep sleep issues.
  18. Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control

Thank you for clarifying! I've been having this concern for the better part of a year and if my memory serves me correctly, you're the first to have an answer. Thank you!
  19. Second Maverick to Lose Power on Freeway

This is very unfortunate and I definitely understand why you would prefer safety over any mileage advantages. I would say the odds of having one owner with two Mavericks failing power is pretty high.
