I appreciate the thought. I have watched two vids on YouTube where they tapped away with not a concern in the world. They used 1.25 bolts as well....but that doesnt mean that they dont have holes in their gas tanks :) . I started the tap and got several turns in approx 1/4" then chickened out.

That said......I wont know if I am bottoming out on a gas tank or a metal support....but either way....the distance is the distance.....thanks

Thats just it....I am old school and look at my mirrors forgetting that I have a large screen with a back up camera on it. The railing that I almost hit was undetectable even for you professional drivers :) It was the pole style with just two cross members and the tail gate blocked the view...

I have seen some of the 3D drink holders but I prefer the OEM one......the shape holds two drinks better.

Just watched a vid on it......no back up beeps for me......but I am glad that the guy that ordered my truck originally got the copilot 360 just for the light in the mirror thing.

Hold the bus!!!!!! My XL came with Co pilot 360! Does that mean I have beeps??? Come to think of it when little Johnny rode his bike behind my truck it beeped!!!! That said it does not beep when I back into sh*t :)
