So I have 24248 miles on my 2022 Mavrick Hybrid. Out of those miles, I've only had one issue, and of course the Dealership never found a problem, and the problem never surfaced again.
Here is a snap shot of my Fuel stats.
I have had all of the recalls done except for the last one, I have...
YOu have a screen that will show you how much hybrid power is happening,
It is about price, toyota right now has does not have a Hybrid in the price point of a Maverick.
You as well as others have missed the whole point, the Price point of the Maverick HyBird is far less than a Toyota. NOw if you want all the bells and whistles then pay for it. The Lux package has a nice graphic that the lesser HyBirds do not get
PHEV Escape gets a rebate, what you need to remember is, if your commute R/T is within the EV range of the PHEV Escape then it's a no-brainer. Also does your employer have chargers at work?
The Lighting is a joke, 80K after rebate,
I have a unicorn Maverick, only 1 issue, and that is it. You can't beat the Maverick for price, easy to park, and MPG. Carvana wants my truck for 26,200, more than what the MSRP was. They will get it Mid-Summer.
NO one can say for certain, if both the ICE and EV motor kick in together in Sport Mode, but I have to say it does move very well in sport mode, and the 0-60 times between the hybrid and EB are very close..
I've only had one real negative comment, but I had to remind them that my out-the-door price was 29K, I'm averaging 47 MPG, and my truck is paid off. Oh and I can park very easily in normal parking spots.
There are a few modules that you need, brackets and a harness. I know a couple of people have done it, it was roughly $600 to total, not worth it in my books
