I wonder if a solar trickle charger would be a long-term, easy to implement solution? (awaiting my XL and dismayed this hasn't been fixed on 2023s still!)
This one seems to have decent features: https://www.amazon.com/Renogy-12-Volts-10-Watts/dp/B08L7771DN but horrible reviews lol (note -...
b/c Americans are too stupid to buy wagons!
They want it to be "SUV" like - you know, worse handling, oversized (yet same cargo capacity), and horrible mpg - and we can charge them more for it!!!
*grabs cup of coffee, accidentally knocks "shifter" into reverse*
lol
I don't see a problem that is being solved here and I don't recall tons of posts about people missing a shifter. I thought Toyota wasted valuable space by putting a normal shifter into the Rav4 hybrid and Prime.
The government may try, but it cannot always protect idiots from themselves:
"You can't force me to wear a seat belt. Or a helmet!"#OrganDonors
No, but seriously - everyone should be an organ donor. Serious.
but how many Ford headlight LED lamps have you had to replace?
I've yet to replace any household LEDs (I didn't buy them until they were cheap enough to make sense, though - 2014-2016 I'd guess)
Seriously?
$28k for what battery - a Tesla's? Did you buy a Tesla?
I've also seen quotes for $20k brake jobs on a Ferrari. Luckily (?) that doesn't apply to me and definitely not to a hybrid Maverick.
As mentioned already, the random on/off of a hybrid would make a "performance" sounding exhaust ... sound weird.
You could be sitting still, deceleration or accelerating on battery/EV - then "vroom" the roar of a magnaflow and a CVT comes to life. Eww. Lack of shift points makes it sound even...
...but isn't the owner's manual using the same language? " We recommend Motorcraft ..."
My non-lawyer self feels that the equivalent language from Ford and Warren sure satisfies any question I have.
Worst case you fall into the .01% chance of engine failure under warranty and they try to deny...
I believe it is
"The first dent is the deepest"
OP - I have a new philosophy on dents/dings/scrapes, assuming you will have to pay to fix, or an insurance company would pay you for it...
If someone offered you $350 to put a dent in your truck, would you take it? How about $350ea for 10...
