It is a problem...I have an EV. So far ok. I don't know anyone who has had a fire. They are harder to put out. Guess I am a risk taker. I do enjoy the charging at home were I get a full charge for less than $7, for 300 miles, but electric rates will most likely go up.

Actually the constant blaming of Electric Vehicles and even hybrids for catching fire..is over blown. Gas vehicles catch on fire more frequently. And when a gas truck does...well, look at the damage.
well...they do sell quite well here, and part of the problems Ford has had is they should have taken longer to originally release the Maverick. First year of production usually has some problems, too may on the Maverick..rushed.
