During a fairly long trip yesterday after going down a long long gradual hill, when the truck was charging, there was what smelled like electrics burning.
Took it to the dealer today..they could not find anything out of order or burnt.
I did get a phone call at 2:45 pm this afternoon here...The service person said they ran diagnostics and are now out test driving the Truck and can't find anything wrong. They want to keep it overnight. I said of course.
Can't Find the Reason for a complete shut down and a reason for electrical...
At dealership just a few minutes ago. Service person said July 12 was the soonest they could look at my Hybrid. I went up the chain of command. Left trunk and was told I would get a phone call later today after the tech person looked at it.
Going to the stealership tomorrow and see what they say. It took sitting for 15 minutes for it to be drivable after the shut down. 1977 miles on truck. This happened after getting home after the only big trip we have taken, meaning driving on the freeway for 6 hours straight. Never happend in...

“Once upon a time, the beaches were the only highway north and south,” Johnson said. “But there is no longer a legitimate reason for driving on the beach (aside from scientific surveys and patrols by beach rangers), there are a lot more people competing for space on...
I am sure what you are saying is true. Just my surprise at why anyone would modify a small truck for the track. Just seems strange to me, but Enjoy..not my place to judge.

In Changsha, deep in China’s interior, thousands of chemists, engineers and...
While ignoring the destructive cost of ICE pollution, destruction of rivers ,lakes, oceans from pumping and transporting oil, which is a very long list. And then...another myth...about EV fires...EVs are about 0.3 percent likely to ignite, versus a 1.05 percent likelihood for gas cars...
Stationary Storage Batteries for the storage of electricity from the grid could be seen as soon as 2025. That would be a massive game changer. And it would be Sodium batteries..cheap and plentiful. Sodium-ion batteries could reach pack densities of nearly 150 watt-hours per kilogram by 2025...
Expected from a writer who is into Muscle Cars and racing, etc. His focus is on speed and competition. I could say he comes across as a jerk, but that may be unfair.
But he did nail it in this comment in a different interview:
