You know what's funny, that's exactly what I thought about yours. I did some stress testing on the other design and found that this was significantly stronger than the blue one. Yours won't have any problems with stress fractures, it's smaller, and it looks better.

Everything clears just fine. I think it could use a little fine tuning, but based off the 200.4’s dimensions this is pretty much good to go.

The Canadian website goes down less for some reason and it includes US vehicles. Just change the .com to .ca and it should work.

There is no reason to think OP got a lemon yet. Sure the truck shouldn’t have passed its’ quality checks, but it’s possible OP will get hundreds of thousands of miles out of it still.

When you want a cost effective truck so badly you'll pay anything for it. -Me, a guy who paid over MSRP.

I’m glad you were able to speak with someone more knowledgeable. Since it was driven after the shaking occurred there is a possibility of irregular wear on parts other than the axle. I would definitely push for an extended warranty.

Exactly what FakeCowboy said. That's definitely ATF and it is definitely not related to a rear axle that doesn't exist. Since this is most likely related to the transmission, I would get confirmation that any problems with the eCVT are protected by the 8yr/100k mile hybrid powertrain warranty...
