4. Accessories and Modifications
This is my favorite part! Watch me spend money on fun things, while my wife questions my decisions in the background. This will be updated as I progress.

3. Maintenance
I'm an "oil change every 5k" guy, but not a "let's pay to get it tested guy". This will include every item that I pay to keep the truck running.

1. Total Costs
I am going to be free an open with the actual costs that I have incurred, including the purchase, all projects, maintenance, and yearly fuel costs.

I picked up my third Maverick on Jan 13. The first was a Lariat FX4, then a Lariat Lux Hybrid, then a random Porsche Cayenne Diesel, and now a '25 Lobo High. I went in to test drive a '25 Lariat Hybrid but was disappointed. Almost as a joke, I asked the salesman to pull the Lobo around. Turns...
I had unknowingly been receiving PMs for years on making Kicker Key Mounting Brackets for behind the glove box. Somewhat recently @Milous got in touch with me to have one made. I mocked up a new and stronger model and sent one over to him for confirmation on fit. I don't plan on personally...
Local only. $500
I used it problem free for a year for the added security while traveling around the country. I bought it specifically because the Lomax is the easiest hard tonneau cover to remove and reinstall. It’s so easy I’ll even install it for you if you want.
I’ve cleaned up all the...
I bought all these and then waited months to come in for an ecoboost non lariat lux. By the time everything I needed arrived, so did my hybrid parasite lux, and now I don’t need them. All prices include shipping.
First up, Morel Maximo Ultra 402 4” coax speakers with Hoel speaker harness...
Same as Red Ryder, if you want one I can send it out if you cover shipping. Not trying to make any money on these, just want to help the Mav community out.
Congrats, Rockinchair. I'm up north from you, having a great time with my Maverick. Sometimes you need a new vehicle and it's better to pay extra than get something you don't want.
I just received my LLJ and they sent me the wrong harness. It's a pain trying to contact them and it costs twice as much. I don't have the time or patience to screw around with LLJ so I went ahead and ordered a hoelauto one. I simply trust him more.
I wish I knew of this before I ordered the LLJ harness. I bought a couple sets of rear speaker connectors from you On Amazon, I would have much rather bought direct.
I’m making no modifications to the truck whatsoever. I figure I can replace tweeters but not mounting points.
@sk8masta88 do you mind if I share info about tweeters and other install fitment notes in this thread? I don’t want to threadjack.
That information would have been nice. I just dremeled my Morel tweeters in. Not pretty, but they snap in and there’s no noticeable loss in sound quality.
