I added a rubber mat on top of my SIBL mostly for my knees when I have to climb into the truck bed. Had a 98 Ranger with a DIBL and a bed mat for the same reason. When I haul anything like a lawnmower or mulch I will add a couple of tarps just for the ease of clean up afterwards.
I got the cubbies well after the spray in liner was added. At this point they are installed with just the four bolts and it appears i will have to drill out the other holes later. Just too cold to worry about it no and the four bolts are holding them in just fin, but I have nothing inside them...
With a cover m I think the classic should be fine. I have that and a bed mat as well as a cover. I see the bed as a large trunk with occasional use as a truck bed. Everyone has different uses, needs and views of how they want their truck to function So whatever works for you.
I am very happy with the Continental tires and they seem to work for my needs. I will likely replace them with the same tire type when it comes tim, but at about 600 miles per month this will be awhile.
The light bulbs for me when it gets a little warmer outside. Beyond that not much if anything. I am adding things to make the vehicle more to my taste and uses but not replacing items just to replace them.
I ordered two bed cubbies from the parts counter at the local dealer and used my FordPass points. They arrived within a couple of days even with the holiday in the middle of things. Picked them up on Tuesday and installed when I got home. I still need to get a couple of extra bolts for each, but...
Thanks for sharing this video. I was thinking about one, but after seeing the video I think I will pass. Just doesn't seem useful for my needs and has the potential to become a projectile in an accident.
I have to agree with you. I wanted the Maverick for the mileage, flexibility and frankly it was time for me to buy something new. This is my retirement vehicle and it fills all the boxes on my checklist for a vehicle. As I don't drive that much, I expect it will last me a long time as my...
Congrats! I lucked into one when I needed it as my 14 year old car was in an accident and totaled. Paid over MSRP but talked the dealer into floor liners and a spray in bed liner as part of the deal. So far so good.
Costco for me is .50 a gallon cheaper than the local stations. We make it a point to drive by one and fill up when we are out. It's better in my pocket than in theirs.
I was in one of those difficult circumstances (wrecked my car) and really couldn't wait so I paid over MSRP for my XL. I was hoping to wait until the 24 Model Year before buying a Maverick, but the situation dictated otherwise. I won't criticize others who made choices based upon what they felt...
I haven’t, but will be loading a Snapper walk behind mower into the bed for a trip to the shop in February. Picked up a set of folding ramps from Harbor Freight for the task.
