  1. Disposable bed mat from Harbor Freight foam tiles

I added a rubber mat on top of my SIBL mostly for my knees when I have to climb into the truck bed. Had a 98 Ranger with a DIBL and a bed mat for the same reason. When I haul anything like a lawnmower or mulch I will add a couple of tarps just for the ease of clean up afterwards.
  2. Bed mat and backflip midgate on a budget - my custom DIY solution 🪚

Looks Great! Well Done 👍 and thanks for sharing the idea. Off to harbor freight for me……
  3. Bed cubbies before or after spray in

I got the cubbies well after the spray in liner was added. At this point they are installed with just the four bolts and it appears i will have to drill out the other holes later. Just too cold to worry about it no and the four bolts are holding them in just fin, but I have nothing inside them...
  4. Line-X, which one?

With a cover m I think the classic should be fine. I have that and a bed mat as well as a cover. I see the bed as a large trunk with occasional use as a truck bed. Everyone has different uses, needs and views of how they want their truck to function So whatever works for you.
  5. Factory Continental Tires not well regarded?

I am very happy with the Continental tires and they seem to work for my needs. I will likely replace them with the same tire type when it comes tim, but at about 600 miles per month this will be awhile.
  6. Top 5 Stock Items to be Modified on Your Maverick?

The light bulbs for me when it gets a little warmer outside. Beyond that not much if anything. I am adding things to make the vehicle more to my taste and uses but not replacing items just to replace them.
  7. My Lariat was rear-ended on the way to work. Devastated

This is fantastic I think I need one!
  8. My Lariat was rear-ended on the way to work. Devastated

Wow! Sorry to see that happen. Hopefully the insurance will set things right.
  9. Fordparts.com slow to process order

I ordered two bed cubbies from the parts counter at the local dealer and used my FordPass points. They arrived within a couple of days even with the holiday in the middle of things. Picked them up on Tuesday and installed when I got home. I still need to get a couple of extra bolts for each, but...
  10. If you want a bigger dash tray.....

Thanks for sharing this video. I was thinking about one, but after seeing the video I think I will pass. Just doesn't seem useful for my needs and has the potential to become a projectile in an accident.
  11. Ram Revolution - To be revealed January 5

I am no fan of Chrysler vehicles, but it will be interesting to see what they do.
  12. Food for thought ( if you might be tired of waiting on a maverick )

I have to agree with you. I wanted the Maverick for the mileage, flexibility and frankly it was time for me to buy something new. This is my retirement vehicle and it fills all the boxes on my checklist for a vehicle. As I don't drive that much, I expect it will last me a long time as my...
  13. Door Sill Protection

Thanks for the link, looks like just what I am looking for to cover the door sill.
  14. Saying hello!

Congrats! I lucked into one when I needed it as my 14 year old car was in an accident and totaled. Paid over MSRP but talked the dealer into floor liners and a spray in bed liner as part of the deal. So far so good.
  15. Costco Gas? Real Savings?

Costco for me is .50 a gallon cheaper than the local stations. We make it a point to drive by one and fill up when we are out. It's better in my pocket than in theirs.
  16. Mavericks Accumulating At Dealers

I was in one of those difficult circumstances (wrecked my car) and really couldn't wait so I paid over MSRP for my XL. I was hoping to wait until the 24 Model Year before buying a Maverick, but the situation dictated otherwise. I won't criticize others who made choices based upon what they felt...
  17. Did anyone load a snowblower on the bed? Or on a carrier

I haven’t, but will be loading a Snapper walk behind mower into the bed for a trip to the shop in February. Picked up a set of folding ramps from Harbor Freight for the task.
  18. Interior sun visors too short?

The visors do seem rather small to me.
  19. DIY Center Console USB Power Strip

Nice job and very innovative for those so inclined! Well Done!
  20. So how has your Maverick fared with Winter Storm Elliott?

Very cold here with windchill of - 30 overnight. My Mac didn't go anywhere as being retired I saw no need to get out in this weather.
