I had also read a lot of comments about chipping paint. Many of them were from all wheel drive buyers. So, I assumed many could be from offroad activity. Much of the chipping appeared to be in the hood area. So to be on the safe side, I ordered the Ford bug shield. It hugs the hood. No...
Just buy the letters and stick them on. They sell them everywhere in all different colors!

MAVERICK 2022 BLACK PLATINUM TAILGATE LETTERING
I ordered (from Ford) The bed tray and tailgate liner. They are both Hard vinyl so the bed and tailgate won't take a beating. They are easy to install and fit around your cargo hooks.

Tailgate Liner Part # NZ6Z- 9900038-C
My chevy Spark had it always on. And I used it all the time. And it was great. My wifes Subaru would not stay on. It always reset to off. I consider it a programming flaw. So, I agree 110%. Either leave Cruise on once it is turned on or put in a setting to allow set or default.
You can flip the XLT, but as long as the Lariat is a hybrid '22, keep it. I have a Lariat lux hybrid with no problems. I enjoy the almost 40mpg (plenty of highway miles involved). It runs great and does all the hauling I need it to. The 2022 model will also be less expensive than the 2023...
This is a support group to help with the waiting! Because, "Waiting is the hardest part!" It is also nice to see pics proudly posted of the Mavs people have taken delivery of and mods and accessories that have been added to the trucks.
I used a floor jack to change a flat on my mav. I didn't feel like doing the Scissor jack twist. So, I cut about 5 inches off a 2x4 and cut a 1 inch deep channel about a quarter inch wide. Worked like a charm! Now i just keep that 2x4 piece with the floor jack.
One other note. The visibility it is good, as soon as you remove the rear headrests and toss them in the underseat storage. They do get in the way but are easily removed and stored. I agree about judging the Front end. I could use a camera up front too! lol!
As far as I can tell, at the end of March, status emails ceased. At that point only contacting my dealer salesperson yielded any actual updates via VIN.
I got that email on October 21st. It was a nice gesture from Ford. Although, I never got one. The dealer says they never got it and I called Ford and they are tracing it. But that was 2.5 months ago (When I picked up my Mav.) A shame it never showed. But, I really don't care much. I've...
At the Max - See if the dealer will take care of it
At the Min - Buy the touch up paint and take care of it yourself.
The paint is very thin on these beasts and may not be fully cured.
Some say in 24 hours, then some say 60-90 days for curing.
Anyway, I have the mud flaps and bug shield to help...
Since I put no money down, I checked back in November '21, on the price protection. My dealer indicated I would get the Maverick for the original price estimate from the Order Summary. But, Since interest rates change, I didn't put anything down, and I have the option of bailing out on the...
I guess if it says it in the book it must be so. I use fat32 unless i have individual files over 4gb in size. Fat32 is the only format that will work on my home smart tv.
Hybrid is worth it. It has plenty of power. Mine is Lariat lux. Very comfortable. The Mileage is outstanding. There is no stop/start at stoplights which is kind of annoying. If you are waiting for your Hybrid, you will be rewarded at the gas pump and with a pleasurable drive.
I am alway curious to see how a common procedure goes, and changing a flat is as common as it gets. I am definitely putting the 12"x12" plywood behind the back seat. Knowing where and how to set the scissor jack is also important to the task. Hell, getting the spare tire down was a win in...
