Why don't some of the pea brains on this forum contribute positive comments or constructive criticisms instead of pointing out the wrinkled seat cover or the blinding grill lights.
Whoops ! Here I am being critical of someone elses comments. Damn !
If you want JUST the washer O'Reilly's or ACE Hardware has a variety. Thanks for the heads up. I am changing my 2.0L oil tomorrow. O'Reilly's had the correct FoMoCo oil filter but not the air and cabin filters yet.
I also invested in a couple of 12" high drive on ramps from, of all places...
The fog lights are awesome. Anybody want to trade front bumpers ? I will include the two factory tow hooks.
I wouldn't worry too much about blinding oncoming traffic.
You do very good work.
I will participate on the MPG game as soon as I pass the 1000 mile mark. Let things wear in a little first. I am having too much fun trying to break the 6.0 second time on the 0-60 MPH. Not there yet. Texas is too flat.
Great job! I can't tell by the pictures, but it appears that the area inside the box has increased the captive cold air capacity which is the object. Thank you for sharing.
You were really thinking inside the box on this project!
Any time you space two diametrically opposed cables spanned greater than 3’ 4 1/8” laterally you create a dihedral force causing a magnetic field of conjuncture thus explaining this HUGE difference in the levelness of a tailgate.
Get a big dude to jump on the high side until the cable stretches...
Most of you have good intentions by modifying the ride ride height of your Mavericks; whether it be for looks, ride, handling, or ego. I am chomping at the bit to drop our Maverick FX4 by 2" front and 3" rear. My wife has Huntington's Disease which is a neurological movement disorder which...
6 years ago I purchased a Mercedes SL 55 AMG with 30,000 miles on it from a Phoenix Mercedes dealer. They wanted about $5,000 for a pretty comprehensive warranty good to 100.000 miles. I outsmarted the dealer and boughta comparable one on-line for $3500.
When time came to use it I discovered I...
One of you posted a thread about likely being ridiculed by your co-workers for buying a small truck. I get a good laugh every one of my neighbors buy a new pickup and immediately lift it more and fit larger tires than the other neighbors have theirs.
I call that Texas Canine Pack Mentality...
I bought my XLT FX4 from Platinum Ford in Terrell, Texas. Dealt with internet manager Kevin Pederson all except giving the check to the F& I guy. No set up guy; no sales manager, no market adjustment add on, and no closer. I gave them a $500 deposit but they didn’t even cash the check. Good...
Okay! Let's back up a couple decades. First; is it hypermiling or hypermilling you are talking about ? It has been spelled both ways in these posts.
Second; however you spell it, what is it?
Must be why I bought the 2.0L EcoBoost!
Looks great!
Dark with a finer texture like the factory spray in.
Yours and mine look too nice to use. I have been using the heavy duty wheel boxes my wheels came in to keep the "new look" as long as possible.
That looks SUPER!
whete are you located? My Ford dealer wants $500 and can’t guarantee they won’t break anything.
I don’t have any confidence in them.
I wanted a bright color, but not the bright gold. Easier to find in a parking lot.
Which color choice did or will you choose?
Thank you for the kind words.
The 20” tires will fitment will be fine on the AWD as long as you keep the tire size within the approximate diameter of the stock size. If you went too tall they would then rub on the strut spring perch. It would possibly rub elsewhere when doing a lock yo lock turn.
I have no idea if the...
