For me, it's crazy the variation I see in my own vehicle. I generally drive in a conservative fashion with ECO mode... I saw 36mpg on several 4 hour trips on smooth lonely AZ highways, and I saw 16mpg on one tank where I didn't leave Álamos for almost a month.
Summer 2025 we are doing a 2 week...
I think I can offer meaningful insight here.
On highway trips in the USA, I do about 32 mpg (I have had some legit full day trips over 35mpg too). Mixed driving in Green Valley, it's about 29mpg (28 if I get on it more or all of the trips are really short).
Mexico is different. Struggle to...
It's a $2500 difference between XL and XLT. XLT also gets you rear armrest, bed cubby, a few more tie down points in the bed, power mirrors (requires $695 Copilot on the XL). You picked up Alloys cheap, but nominally you'd expect to pay about $700-800 to buy and fit a set after the fact. So...
A bit of a hard video to watch because this is a refresh year and the poster didn't really educate himself on the trim levels of the outgoing models at all. (He thought the XL interior was all new)...
I had 18" Mav BAP wheels that I sold after I bought 18" Bronco wheels. I just liked one better than the other.
Swapping 18s for 17s gives you some taller sidewall options. No doubt the fella you traded with appreciates the lower profile for his lowered look. Nice it worked out that way. I was...
If I had an XL or XLT without a MRSW, I'd be all over this. If my Lariat PRSW ever gets ruined (someone throws a log through the back window when loading firewood for example), I'd look at their power slider to retrofit. The extra width is a nice improvement over OEM... with the existing...
I'm not sure when it happened... but at some point the 2025 front ends grew on me and I like them. Funny how that happens. Really like the look of my 2024 Lariat, but I also don't mind the 2025..

Kinda feel bad for Tim and LongMcArthur... They do all that positive promotion of Mavericks for over 3 years and then get stuck with like 90 left over Mavericks that they can't sell... Ford needs to address that... Hope Tim didn't put too many aftermarket alloys on those XLs...
Terrain is the same color code as Desert Sand.
I'm with PNW, space white may be the new metallic alternative to Cactus Grey, in the same vein that Azure Grey was the metallic alternative to Area 51.
Dude shares first 2025 Maverick here on MTC, a long awaited Hybrid AWD 4K, and both your replies are negative in tone.. Lighten up man, let us enjoy this Mav show n tell for a bit... 😁
